Made me permanently worse
Telehealth
He doesn't understand severe MECFS. He recommends expensive supplements (from his own store of course) and none of them really have an impact. He prescribed me GCMAF and told me to put it in yogurt on my counter, covered, for three days. Mold grew on it and he said it was harmless. I stupidly trusted him because he's a doctor and I ate it as he instructed. This caused a horrific crash in the course of 5 days, which took me from mild MECFS (able to walk around and go to the park) to severe (bedbound). It has been three and a half years since this and I am still bedbound. The PEM from the (moldy!!!) GCMAF led to permanent damage. I can't believe he would say mold is harmless. He doubted it was the GCMAF that led to my crash. It was because I have MCAS which he never even bothered to look into. This doctor ruined my life. I cant believe he is still practicing.

This is a Real Doctor. who has made a commitment
The Doctor Spent 2 hours talking with me . We exchanged Ideas about likly causes and possible treatments. Not talking at me Not rushing . Not an arrogant Ego Case like many MD's out there in it for the money. This is a New York City Office and if you call you must pay with a credit card. to get through even for 5 min. Secratary was Rude. Cost to make a 5 minute. quick phone call was the end for me. It was a barrior to care. and Ruined the relationship.

Dr. Enlander is clearly an expert with a far greater depth of knowledge than most other medical professionals. I went to countless doctors to try to get treatment, and he was the only one to truly understand the underlying causes and mechanisms of my disease. He was also able to recommend a detailed treatment plan.

Dr. Enlander is very caring and compassionate. He takes time with his patients and makes sure you understand things. He was easily reached and very accessible on short notice. He also aided me in a positive Social Security outcome for CFS/ME. His knowledge, expertise and support are outstanding.

I have recommended Dr. Enlander to friends! Dr. Enlander is one of the experts in CFS/ME. There is no cure fir thus disorder, and there are no miracle drugs to provide rapid improement, but mild exercise and supplements help over time. My condition has improved using parts of his protocol. While I don't like the long wait in his office, I understand that he spends time with me as needed and must be doing the same with others.

I found Dr. Enlander impossible to reach after 2 visits. 4 hour wait. 3 hours in the waiting room and 1 hour in another room. He must of seen me for 10 mins but his nurse handles everything else. That was $375. Second appointment 2 hours and $285. He wouldn't answer any of my questions or return my calls, but his staff said if I needed more supplements they would be happy to help. How long and why his supplements? A lot of unanswered questions and no real treatment that made any sense.

Had an awful experience with this doc. The worst dr experience i ever had. I really have nothing good to say except his staff was friendly. His expensive injections and supplements are all sold through his office and you're strongly encouraged to buy everything through him. All they did was tell me to keep buying them - A REAL QUACK DR. He told me about the ME/CFS Research Center in Mount Sinai he was going to start - more b.s. I found out.

Dr. Enlander is one of the world's top physicians for M.E.(cfs). He has been treating ME for about 40 years and also had a very high profile medical career, including as an academic physician previous to this (Chief of Nuclear Medicine at NYU, etc.). He founded and directs the Mt. Sinai Hospital's ME/CFS Research and Treatment Center. Patients from all over the world come to be treated by Dr. Enlander. I've been a patient for 5 yrs and recommend him very highly.
