Professional and informative
Dr. Slater took his time explaining things to me in a way that was easy to understand. When dealing with genetics and oncology things can be so complicated but I left the office feeling more knowledgable about my condition.

I almost never bother writing these but I feel compelled to highlight how exceptional Dr. Slater was in his care. He spent well over an hour with me reviewing my family history, concerns, and equipped me with a lot of knowledge on how preventative medicine is really the key with anyone, particularly those with predispositions for cancer and other poor health outcomes. He was thorough, compassionate, and I did not feel rushed at all. He utilized visual aids and explained things in understandable words. I look forward to meeting him again.

He is excellent. Up-to-date on evidence-based oncology. I suspect the poor review was from some patient without real pathology.

I have seen Dr. Slater a few times in a matter of years. He has always been polite, a gentleman, very, very knowledgable man. He even went over my file after my last visit, and ordered some more tests. I would highly recommend him for any blood disorder.

Dr. Slater was horribly rude, upsetting experience. I am 81 years old and after suffering a kidney stone, I got a blood clot in the hospital. I've been so ill and didn't want to leave home but I went to Stater &he made me wait 2.5 hours! I was shaking and weak and I didn't even think I was going to make it in the 1st place so it was unbearable. Then he tells me i've been in the ER x times, & I've had x number of scans and DON'T i know i have IBS?! I was confused & weak and he berated me! AWFUL
