Dr. Peterson treated my mom rudely and dismissed her and told her that since she was a long time smoker that her kidney and lung problems were her fault and that he wasn't going to treat her. He said he was "done with her". I stepped in and said should I take her to the hospital ER and he said "do what you want, I am done with her". I was appalled and very upset and my mom was crying. I left angry and took her right to the ER. They treated her wonderful, did tests and found out she had C-Dif. infection, admitted her and treated her. I called Petersons office to complain and was hung up on. I never let my mom or dad go back to him again. The other Doctors that I took them to were so nice and kind and helped them to the end. I would not recommend Peterson to a dog. That was our experience. Sorry but it is true.

I think Dr. Peterson is the BEST! And I am so happy to have him for my doctor. I live in Libby but it is worth the trip over to have him do my yearly checkup. He is wonderful as you all are in that office.

Dr. Peterson displays a plaque with "The Hippocratic Oath". The words may be just words to some, but Dr. Peterson has proven to take them seriously: "I will remember that there is art to medicine as well as science...with warmth, sympathy, and understanding... " In 8 years, there have been two incidences of a specialist recommending a course of treatment for me, while Dr. Peterson, not agreeing, did not hesitate to voice his concerns. In so doing, saved me much grief.
