I've been seeing Dr. Kottler for a couple years now for depression, anxiety and OCD. He's so easy to talk to I've kept seeing him even though I've moved nearly an hour away! He's helped me with strategies for dealing with stress at work and gotten me through a lot of low times. I owe him a lot and I look forward to our visits each week. He's worth every penny!

I saw Dr. Kottler for over a year, weekly. He gave me SSRIs for my major depression. Which I don't have. I have since been diagnosed as bipolar I by two psychs in CA and the chair of the psych department at Penn State. And I now have rapid cycling and mixed episodes, which increase my suicide potential, and a number of researchers think SSRIs contribute to these. It's understandable that a family practice physician might make this mistake. But for a psych to do this is inexcusable.
