Yep, he's NOT gonna "hold your hand". But what do you want? A competent DR. or a shoulder to cry on? I believe previous comments posted by dimwits as Dr. Shub helped save my life professionally and respectfully. Nothing "shocking" if you are honest with him. If he looks down while talking, he is THINKING about what you said and how to treat you. WOULD recommend.

Very arrogant; doesn't listen well--he's more interested in what he believes and what he has say; pushy with medications; cold personality; felt I couldn't trust him and would never recommend him to anyone

My fianc? spent about 10 days under his care. After repeated attempts to speak to the doctor, he was just released with a discharge paper in his hand. I did not know what to think of the disrespectful and shocking disregard that was shown to me. One day after his release he was back to his depressive state, lying in bed and not eating. I had many questions to ask the doctor, but I never got them. I told the social worker and the floor nurse that I needed to talk to the doc, but that didn't help.
