Dr. Demian Yakel, DO

I waited in the exam room for 45 minutes. I was very patient the entire 'consult' in which he briefly touched my back and tested my lower body strength. He says that if did the surgery he would want fuse the vertebrae, which I tell him I want avoid the fusion, he says he done 2500 and they have all been fine which is a suspect thing to say. I can tell he is in a hurry so he prescibes me the exact same med that didnt work at all just double the dosage. I just ask if there is a different number than the black hole that is Missions phone system since its been 8 days since left messages with Dr Davis's office and no call back. Well they did call back after I left a negative google review I got a call in less the 60 minutes. When I press him on the number to reach a doctor at and he tells me that he doesnt have time to argue with me. OK. He leaves the exam room and comes back in to tell me to go f myself and that the staff in that office works their butts off. So much for being professional

Dr. Yakel performed surgery on my ankle after a fall on the ice. He had to make an incision on both sides of my ankle. I'm almost 5 weeks from the surgery and my scars are almost invisible. I have excellent movement already! Although this is not his specialty (he was on-call at the hospital), he did an excellent job. Also, everyone in his office is friendly and helpful. I recommend him for any surgical needs he would be willing to do!

He listens, he diagnosed, he tended to the problem. He is kind , and an excellent surgeon. I trust him..

He listens and explains so well. Really cares. Very efficient . My daughter is a nurse and she was impressed with Dr. Yackel. On her visit also.

Dr Yael was my dr for years in WY. He is by far the most caring, knowledgeable, and dedicated dr I have ever known. I wish he were still here, as I have tried 2 other doctors remaining here and I will never return to this facility again.

I was having alot of issues with lower back nerve pinch I called in during the weekend because more issues were starting the on call nurse asked if I was after pain meds I said no as soon as the on-call doctor came on he went off about not providing pain killers I told him I was not interested in pain killers I was worried about my symptoms so I show up to appointment and he started yelling at my wife and me because she was filling paperwork I was keeping my cool then he started in at it again worthless scum did not want to help

I have 3 bulging discs and a retrolistheses in my neck and it was suggested that I go to physical therapy after being told I have a great looking neck I am not sure what that means? I have pain everyday and after 2 weeks of calling Dr. Yakel and never receiving any calls back just empty promises to receive a call I did not go to physical therapy because I am not even sure of what he seen in my MRI I heard him discuss the retrolistheses with the person he was teaching.. very frustrated

We briefly spoke the day he was putting the two shots into my spinal nerve. He is really polite and friendly. He was super quick at getting the shot done as well. I primarily met with his PA, Tim, who has a wonderful bedside manner and really listens!
