Dr. Guaqueta is a God sent earthly angel. She is caring, attentive, knowledgeable. Dr. G service is bar none and gives patient confidence to fight this battle

The best Oncologist. She's very compassionate

Dr Guaqueta is an awesome oncologist. She’s very knowledgeable, kind and pays attention to all the details. She’s also very supportive and patiently explains simply the most complicated things.

Unfortunately, at 69 I was found to have breast cancer. Dr. Guaqueta met me where I was at every level and helped me to get through a lot of grief shock anger disappointment. I can’t recommend her highly enough. She’s a lovely human being, and she really cares.

Dr. Guaqueta provides personal, genuine, attentive care. She may have a list of standard questions, but she LISTENS, above all else, before answering and navigating your care path. You never want to have to see an oncologist, but if you do, Dr. G is one in a million.

I have done a lot of reading about my condition (DCIS) and had a good idea of how I want to approach treatment. I'm not a stupid person: I have a masters degree in engineering as well as a BSN and several of my adult children are PA's and a doctor. This doctor spoke in a condescending manner and I felt very disrespected and disregarded. My application for the COMET study was pending and I requested that Dr. Guagueta give me a script for a mammogram- since it had been 6 months since the previous mammo -to see if the DCIS was stable or enlarging. She absolutely refused. My primary care doc was stunned to hear this and immediately ordered a diagnostic mammo (which had reassuring results BTW). I have since moved all my care to Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center and have been very impressed with every provider I have seen.

Poor bedside manner, dismissive, dissatisfied

I love Dr. Guaqueta! Some days I don't really feel like going to my appointments but I understand that's all a part of the process however, when I see her I light up. She always enters the room with the biggest smile and end every visit with the warmest hug. Every touch matters during this time and it is especially refreshing coming from your physician. She is kind as well as informative, never leaving you wondering about the next steps. I never leave her office feeling like a number. I feel like a PERSON. A person who is reassured that I am in good hands with their healthcare provider. She has made this unfortunate experience much easier for my family and I!

I was referred to Dr. Delia Guaqueta by my surgical oncologist in August, 2019. Dr. Guaqueta is a good oncologist. She is very knowledgeable, personable, and empathetic to the concerns of her patients. She explains my diagnosis very clearly, along with my treatment options. Cancer is one of the most frightening words. So when you have a physician who makes you and your needs a priority and makes you feel safe it is an awesome feeling. I would and have recommended Dr Guaqueta.

She’s great. Super professional and empathetic. Great communicator and helps clarify all misunderstandings and any doubts. Recommend her to ANYONE.

Amazing doctor,so friendly and she really cares about her pacients ,just amazing!

She has very poor bedside manners and they affected my emotional disposition; her rudeness and comments heighten my anxiety, and it certainly ensured difficulty in forming a positive bond with her. I expected her to be a professional that’s o alleviates illness. She kept telling him " your not my patient" I don't treat you but my regular doctor had assigned her to cover for him in his absence. “A bedside manner refers most often to the way a medical professional interacts and communicates with patients,” a 2012 post on Wisegeek stated. The post stresses that a doctor with a good bedside manner demonstrates empathy, and emits an aura of ease for the patients, while also involving them in health decisions. On the flip side, Delia's poor bedside manners reflected rudeness, cold attitudes, inadequate listening skills, and a complete disregard for the patient’s fears.

Very thorough, helpful advice and extremely knowledgeable. Also very empathetic and caring. Excellent doctor!

Very sweet doctor, love her kind bedside manner.. Saw for one round of chemo and my body reacted very poorly. New MD at Dana Faber states care mismanaged and should have gotten meds immediately after to avoid neutropenia. Front desk staff lovely. Chemo room with no privacy. One nurse very rude to me on phone when I reported serious complication. Made decision then to transfer all care. This is relation to Brockton MA office.
