Best thing I could have done!
I was shocked to find out that what I thought was carpal tunnel pain turned out to be a pinched nerve in my neck caused by a bulging disc. I had my first appointment with Dr Reddy in Aug and had the disc replacement surgery in Nov. I was in horrific pain for the weeks prior to surgery, but after I have had little to no pain. My surgery was out-patient, I went in 5:30am and was home before lunch. I never had pain of any kind post op. Dr. Reddy is personable and informative. He gave me treatment options that could possibly prolong the need for spinal surgery, but was clear that I was only prolonging the inventible. He knew what steps I would need to take treatment wise in order to get the surgery covered by my insurance, and streamlined that process so that I could utilize my benefits. This has been a great experience, and I'm so glad that I did it.

I am so thankful for Dr. Reddy!
I started having leg pain after a low back injury earlier this year. The leg pain was gradually becoming worse and I didn’t know where to go. I started working with another orthopedic office in the area and didn’t have much luck. I knew surgery was the next step for me after I had exhausted all other options. I was in panic mode so I made sure to do more research for an orthopedic surgeon. It was these very reviews that led me to Dr. Reddy. He was very knowledgeable, kind and explained everything very well. His assistant is also very sweet and was always available to answer my questions. In a time that can be very overwhelming and scary, that was so appreciated! I felt instant relief the moment I woke up from surgery! I can’t thank him and his staff enough!

Would Highly Recommend
After my 2 stage spinal surgery less than 3 weeks ago, I can honestly say I am doing great! My recovery pain is minimal and my prior back pain Gone! I am so thankful for Dr Reddy and his experience and expertise. I am looking forward to my full recovery to get back to everything I love doing!

McKay Has No More Pain!
Doc did awesome, I have had back pain for years and frankly couldn’t walk very far. In a few hours the good Doc fixed me, two weeks later absolutely no pain! Thank you!

Amazing care
Dr. Reddy is thoughtful, kind, caring, and used his technical and surgical expertise to provide state of the art customized care for my mom, caring for her as if she were a member of his family. We are so appreciative of his care! Thanks to him, she’s already on the path to recovery, getting back to the things she loves to do. We traveled to have surgery with him, and it was worth every mile! His leadership is clear in the respect from his colleagues and the coordination of his team. What a phenomenal human being and surgeon. South Bend is lucky to have Dr. Reddy! We cannot recommend him highly enough!

Dr. Reddy is amazing!
After developing drop foot one afternoon I was referred to Dr. Reddy by a trusted friend. After all of his analysis he determined I was going need 2 surgeries on consecutive days to correct what I had which was double spondylolisthesis. The first surgery was gonna be below my belly button and the second was gonna be on the lower back. These were gonna be my sixth and seventh surgeries at forty six years old but the first on my back. Needless to say I was terrified of what it would take to fix me, I almost passed out in the Dr. office when I got the news. It was amazing the minimal amount of pain I experienced due to Dr. Reddys’ expertise. Unbelievably I was able to walk all 4 days in the hospital. Six weeks after surgery I was able to fly to the Caribbean to celebrate my parents 50th anniversary. 4 months post surgery I can do everything from running a chain saw to throwing a baseball and more importantly fishing. Put your faith in Dr. Reddy he can help make miracles happen.

Excellent Bed Side Manners

Excellent Surgeon!
My pain started in February 2023 with a severe stiff neck. I tried chiropractor, pain clinic and with no relief after 4 months and severe pain radiating down my arms leaving my fingers numb and tingling, was referred to an orthopedic specialist. I found Dr. Reddy at South Bend Orthopedics and made an appointment. He explained to me clearly and simply what needed to be done to correct the problem. He told me the possible risks I might face, but with the level of pain I was in, I really felt I needed to take my chances. Since my surgery, which was an anterior cervical discectomy with fusion of C4-C7, I have been completely out of pain and allfeeling has returned to my fingers. I am overjoyed with how wonderful I feel again. Zero pain and great neck mobility. Honestly, I feel better than I have in years. I’m so glad I found this doctor and will not hesitate if I ever have another spinal issue to go back to him. If you are in pain, don’t waste time waiting.

The Best in the Area
I visited one spine specialist in the area and after 2.5 years he never got back with me. Then I was sent to a pain doc in the same healthcare system that insisted that it was L3-L4. Dr Reddy saw the same MRI and said it was L5-S1. He was right! 7 weeks out, my legs loosing feeling are back to normal. Dr Reddy listens well takes the data in the evaluates well. The surgery is less intrusive, so it heals quicker. I am walking 3-5 miles day, 7 weeks out.

Help with back pain without surgery
After over a year, countless doctor appointments, and multiple physical therapy surgeries, I was told my back pain was incurable. I finally had an appointment with Dr Reddy. He was able to find the source of my pain and eliminate my pain. This was done without him having to operate on me. Sr. Reddy was able to isolate the injury and treat it with shots my my SI joints. The pain has resolved and I am months now without pain. I am very appreciative that he was able to listen to me, look at the whole picture, and was able to cure me without invasive procedures.

Dr. Reddy Spinal Surgery
Dr. Reddy was very informative about what to expect after my surgery. He performed fusion of my L5 to S1, spent the night in Unity Hospital, went home the next day. I took no pain pills after the night of surgery. Now at six weeks post surgery, and moving around well. Still have respect some limitations. Had a lot of pain an discomfort pre surgery, had several shots for siatica pain. No pain or discomfort now, and sleep is no problem. I would recommend Dr. Reddy to anyone with serious back and sciatica pain.

Outstanding surgeon
Can't tell you how happy I am that I had my c5, c6, c7 fused. My neck pain is completely gone. No more arm pain from the pinched nerves. If someone would have told me 20 Years ago that I would feel this good after this type of surgery, I would have done it then. Very excited. I feel so much better. Thanks Doc. BTW Go Irish.
