Dr. Deena Kleinerman, MD

She's an absolute professional, do experienced with her work. Too bad she's retiring this year. I wish I had known her sooner.

My recent visit was just routine, but I have been very lucky to have Dr Kleinerman as my doctor for more than 3 decades. 4 years ago she discovered a breast lump that was early stage cancer. If not for her excellent care, I wouldn’t have noticed and can’t imagine where I’d be today.

Dr. Kleinerman has been my OBGYN doctor for the last 10 years. I cannot say enough good things about her professionalism, expertise and attitude towards her patients (me, in this case). She is thorough. She listened to my concerns and addressed them. She explains everything and makes sure that I am on board with the treatment plan and preventative care. I feel fortunate that Dr. Kleinerman is my OBGYN doctor.

Dr. Deena Kleinerman is a very caring physician. She made me feel comfortable during what is otherwise not the most pleasant of procedures and patiently answered my questions. She is very personable, professional, and compassionate. I was very happy with her care.

I was a new patient as my former GYN retired the year before. Dr. Kleinerman took her time getting to know me before examining me and was not at all rushed. She treated me like I mattered and was very gentle during my exam. She addressed all of my concerns. Dr. Kleinerman had been recommend to me by a specialist I have seen for 20 years and who I trust implicitly. He was spot on in his referral.

Doctors have a responsibility to help patients at some of the most challenging and vulnerable times in their lives. I was so excited during my first pregnancy - until I met Dr. Deena Kleinerman. This woman continuously bullied me to get a procedure done that I didn’t want. She belittled me for everything I did and didn’t do during my pregnancy. She didn’t take any of my concerns seriously which landed me in the hospital for a surgery - and while I was there she yelled at me on the phone. She failed not only as a doctor but as a human being at every step.

I was lucky that I met her 14 years ago and I’m her patient since then. I had c_sections with her and she was my doctor for both my pregnancies. I never forget that she came to the hospital to deliver my baby in such a heavy snowstorm at 5am!! Nobody could drive because of snow. She walked to the hospital with her boots that early morning and delivered my son! She is very caring and very knowledgeable with good bedside manner. Very highly recommend her.

I've been a patient of Dr. Kleinerman's for a couple of years now. Every time I visit, she makes sure she listens to all my complaints and worries first, explains every step of what she plans to do and takes an additional time to discuss next steps. I am always very happy when I have an upcoming appointment with her because I know I am in good hands.

Very lucky to find Dr. Kleinerman after a move to the area. She took the time to listen carefully to my history, presented options and and wonderful care. She has a great sense of humour- I will definitely continue with her and feel grateful to have found someone with so much experience.

After receiving some difficult news about my first pregnancy, I was introduced to Dr. Kleinerman who not only recognized what we needed emotionally, (she was incredibly comforting and helpful while walking my husband and I through the next steps) she also recognized that my husband and I were deaf lip readers, and came out with a clear-mask so that we'd be able to communicate more easily. I cannot emphasize enough how much this meant to us, and the difference it made compared to what we've experienced in other healthcare settings during these past two+ years of pandemic. So grateful!

Dr. Kleinerman has always been patient, thorough, provides great communication and attentive to my needs. I love that she studies her charts and my medical history prior to the appointment. She had been my provider for 26 years.

She's very thorough with the explanations, she brings you to her office after each exam to discuss any issues or answer your questions. She calls herself for the test results, generally.
