She was caring, listened and took so much time with me. She's also extremely smart.

I am unsure if this doctor is depressed or see their patient as another number. I felt this doctor was absent and did not care. As I reiterated several times my concerns, she appear to minimize and gave minimal effective input. She then just says she resigning from Mount Sinai and to find another doctor as if she couldn't care less. Poor bed side manners, and not caring.

While Dr. Adimoolam was physically present whilst I consulted her, she did not appear to be mentally engaged. I had previously been diagnosed with low thyroid and was concerned that I might need a higher dose of medication. Blood was taken (over four months ago) but I have not been able to access the results. Several 'phone calls have not been returned. I have since consulted another doctor for this condition. Additionally, I was concerned that my hair might be thinning. Without looking at my head, Dr. Adimoolam curtly replied "That is normal at your age," a fact of which I am well aware. She did not tell me whether my concern was justified, or offer any possible treatments. I have since consulted another doctor who has confirmed my judgement and is treating me. My visit with doctor Adimoolam was a waste of my time and of my insurance company's money.

Terrible doctor. Doesn't listen to patients. Doesn't care if a medication works for you. Tells you to deal with the side effects. Don't bother with this lady. Trust.

My daughter was recently diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes, and Dr. Adimoolam has been a bright spot in our lives as we've learned to live with that difficult diagnosis. Dr. Adimoolam is obviously very intelligent with a great understanding of her field, but she is also extremely personable, with a warmth and kindness we appreciate, having also dealt with a rather brusque endo. Working with Dr. Adimoolam helps us to understand the facts of Diabetes, but also have hope that it can be controlled.
