When my childhood psychiatrist retired from his practice about twelve or so years ago, he offered my parents and I a list of seven or eight doctors who he highly recommended to take over my care in his absence. Of those seven or eight recommended doctors, only one doctor- Dr. Deeann Wong- was a female, so she was the doctor who I was very clear about wanting to see from then on out. In addition, she also has a minor degree in music, which delighted me and my musical little heart.In the eight or nine years that I had Dr. Wong as my psychiatrist, I found myself growing a certain type of a massive disliking towards this doctor- her manner is stoic and emotionless, which left me feeling more like I was talking to a wall rather than an actual human being. She would also deadname me- it didn’t matter how many times I had POLITELY requested that she call me by my preferred name, but that woman would continually deadname me, seeming to take a cer

Fantastic. She is no-nonsense and also compassionate. She treats both my kids and is great in managing their medicine. She has been wonderful in working with my insurance to get the medicine my daughter needs approved. Very happy with her care.

Dr.Wong has brought my daughter from a point of instability to stability. She is not the doctor you go to for therapy, she's an academic who is an expert in her field. You go to her to get expert advice on medications that successfully work for yourself or your family member. Some people may be put off by her giving only one month prescriptions, but I see it as making sure a person returns for monthly visits to properly monitor mental health.
