I would strongly recommend NOT seeing her . She's disrespectful, dismissive, very insensitive. She basically told me that my symptoms didn't exist or weren't legitimate - apparently they only exist if she can treat them .

This doctor has displayed condescending behavior during my last few visits. According to the doctor intense menstrual cramps for two consecutive weeks and stomach nausea for three months is normal among other symptoms. I repeatedly requested to be tested for PCOS yet the doctor refused to order a new ultrasound. My gp ordered one. My results indicate there are issues that need follow-up.Glad I used my judgment not to listen to this doctor! As the saying goes sometimes you have to be your own doc!

Rather than investigating anything, Dr. Brendel's laissez-faire approach to care was to prescribe antibiotics. Additionally, her nurse knocked during my appointment and Dr. Brendel proceeded to leave the exam room to take a phone call from another doctor. Her bedside manner isn't great and I wouldn't recommend.
