Period pain
I’ve had painful periods since high school, at it seemed to get worse since college. I finally scheduled an appointment with Dr. Yu after years of suffering. Throughout the appointment, Dr. Yu encouraged, even pressured, me to take birth control. I’ve always been wary of taking birth control because I believe they only mask the issue, but she dismissed this. Despite my initial hesitance to see her again, I scheduled a follow-up ultrasound with her. In the middle of the exam, the machine ran out of thermal paper(?), so she rang a nurse while I was sprawled out, half naked on the examination table with the ultrasound machine between my legs. This is the first time I’ve visited an OB, so I’m not sure if the push to take birth control is systemic or Dr. Yu’s own obstinance speaking. Needless to say, I wouldn’t recommend Dr. Yu for period-related issues. Furthermore, this experience makes me hesitant to reach out to an OB again.

I’m a new patient
Dr. Yu is an awesome dr extremely professional but at same time humble ,She communicates with me and takes time to sit down and explain lab results answers all my questions and concerns , she is the best! every gyn should be like her with their patients. Thank you dr .Yu I will you keep you as my gyn from now on. God Bless

Dr. Yu is great. Provides a lot of information and she’s very professional. She is very friendly and can speak cantonese & mandarin to communicate with chinese pregnant. The front staff were very good, friendly and professional. Vivian was born in early morning at 30 AUG and she was there to deliver. Great experience.
