Dr. Venesy took time to go over all my tests and explain what the X-rays, etc., showed. She reviewed my history and asked questions to help us both understand my health background. Recommended PT and knowing someone who knows the body well has helped me strengthen my core+ and eliminate tightness in my back. Will need to continue stretches and exercises forever in order to keep the discomfort level low. Dr. Venesy was very supportive and helpful.

I would leave zero stars if I could. I have never had such a poor experience with a medical professional in my life. I am even willing to go so far as to say she shouldn't consider herself a professional. Dr. Venesy was rude, unwilling to help and in so many words told me I wasted my time coming to see her. My radiation oncologist specically referred me to her, so to hear all of that was very surprising. She dismissed me in a quicker timeframe than I waited in the office for her. It's amazing to me that one of the top medical facilities in the country would employ such a rude and unempathetic person.

I had an appointment for 9:20; documentation shows to be there at 8:50. So I arrive early and check in. I go up to the 4th floor and there’s a sign that says, if you’re waiting for your appointment for more than 20 minutes, let their staff know. It becomes 9:40 and I let the staff know. Five minutes later the staff tells me that she didn’t know that I was here and called someone else to come in. Wait... not only did I confirm my appointment electronically, fill out Revisit questions the night before, checked in when I came in, and the staff saw me sitting there, she didn’t know I was there. I must not have Checked in. Sooooo they have to reschedule my appointment, she can’t see me. I’m checked in, I was early and so etching didn’t go right on their side and she won’t see me! This was after a couple discussions with “her” thru the staff at the desk. I just spent an hour and 40 minutes of my time for an appointment a doctor wouldn’t see me because of an error on their side!

She was very close minded, unempathetic, would not do any testing I asked her to do, and refused to even let me read off symptoms I felt that could be a correlation to my back problems. She stated she only has 30 minutes per patient numerous times, even though I was only in there for about 20 minutes. She downplayed my pain and pretty much told me to buy a cushion, sit on it and deal with it. I drove over an to see her and it was the biggest waste of my time. If anything she damaged my ego more.
