Dr LaMonica is awesome!
As an adult I saw Dr LaMonica at a hospital. She went into private practice for children, but fortunately she kept me on. I saw her for maybe 20 years. I had misdiagnosed Lyme disease that gave me terrible panic attacks, severe anxiety and agoraphobia. She tried all sorts of medications and she hit one that other Drs said would put me in Betty Ford. She assured me that I was taking it to feel normal, not to get high. That really helped me. I found her to be upbeat and encouraging. I was in a terribly abusive marriage and an attorney told me I didn't have enough money to get divorced. She told me that was NOT true. I was in such a bad place for so long and she helped me keep it together. I got divorced, my panic subsided greatly, and I am in a better place. She moved too far for me to see. I really miss seeing her as a person, whom I enjoyed chatting with. She has been one of the most important people in my life. Thank you Dr LaMonica! I hope you are well!

Dr. Lamonica is the most understanding, compassionate, and thorough psychiatrist I've ever had the pleasure of working with. She worked with my son for 8+ years and myself for almost as long. My son has overcome his issues and gone on to become a very productive citizen.

I've been going to Dr. LaMonica for 12 years. She has been amazing for me. Helped me through some very tough times. Listened well and manages my meditation with care. I'm aging out of her practice and will miss her greatly.

Dr. LaMonica is smart, approachable, and caring. She goes out of her way to be calming and available. She has a great sense of humor but can control the situation to help and guide. Her knowledge of medications, their effectiveness and side effects is amazing. She takes a slow, methodical approach to prescribing medications. A wonderful psychologist.

An absolutely unlikable woman, rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful from the get go. The secretary is a very nice woman whom is easy to communicate with however the same cannot be said for the psychiatrist.
