Worst doctor I ever seen
Absolutely NO bedside manner. Five minutes before my first surgery she informed me that I may have to have a stent but that it was unlikely. She placed a stent and it was literally the most painful thing I EVER experienced. Minutes before the next surgery to remove the stent my husband asked her if we should be considering another type of treatment. She responded “there are no guarantees with surgery, if you want a guarantee then I’m not the surgeon for you”. I already had the IV placed, her response to a valid question felt like a threat. After the stent and my kidney stone were removed I suffered for 5 months with unbelievable nerve pain. In a follow up with her, she blamed me by stating I was having muscle pain. At 3 months of excruciating pain I saw another provider who actually listened to me and treated the nerve pain that I believe was caused by Dr. Chuang. It has taken me 5 months to be able to find the physical and emotional strength I needed to leave this review.

Hi Thomas Pattison here... I have some health issues and one of them deal with my bladder and prostate... I have seen some urologist in my years of health woes and gone through the dreaded scoping procedure which I up till the other day feared going through. I go to University Hospital in Cleveland ohio for many of my health issues and the urologist I had there left UH and I was highly recommended to see the Head urologist of Ahuja Hospital [one of UH hospitals] … I went to her and really liked her. She was kind and compassionate, gave me time and did not rush me and was just great. Her staff with Elizabeth who does all her scheduling ect is fantastic and very helpful and understanding and so is her nurse Jeannette, Doctor Chuang kept asking me to do a scoping so she could tell what was going on inside of me but I kept postponing it due to the fear of going through it... All my last times left me in pain.. Well, I finally did the procedure with Doctor Chuang the other

Altoona has been in need of a good urologist for quite some time. I believe that Dr. Chuang is the one! I've had my second appointment with her for my kidney stone problem and other kidney issues. I left both times with a clear understanding of what needed to be done as far as testing and why each needed to be done. She also made sure I had a very clear understanding of the results of any tests that had already been done. I feel very confident with my urology health care in her hands.
