Child ultimately died when diagnosis wasn't caught
My child saw Dr. Hyder from birth. Age 4 she began drinking excessively and complained during urination. Brought a urine sample that was promptly lost. Brought child in again and labs showed liver levels extremely high and the doctor blamed it on diet and didn't look further. Later another incident with painful urination and home litmus showed white blood cells elevated. The doctor said it was fine. Child began showing signs of regression asked for dna testing for autism like disorders. Dr. Hyder said it was against the child's privacy rights. So we went thru school testing and she was delayed. At 5 she had a massive seizure and has sulfatides thru the roof in urine and blood. Hyder made me feel like a hypochondriac and dismissed all worries when there were several opportunities to diagnose my child. My child had a genetic condition that could have been less detrimental if caught early. Her sick visits are only available over the phone and she won't dive deep into repeated concerns.

Dr. Hyder is the BEST! I have been going to her for 21 years (my youngest is 16)! I love her staff and her facility is always clean and professional! I have never had a complaint or issue! Highly recommended!

Been using Hyder for years. Really should have switched years ago. Love her personality but I have never been seen with a wait time shorter than half an hour. It is ridiculous! I’m talking scheduled and I’ve tried showing up early and on time... never fails... guaranteed to wait and take all day long.

I love Dr. Hyder, but getting in to see her when your child is sick is nearly impossible. In addition her staff is horrible and the lobby seating is dirty. I will not return to this practice.

I absolutely love Dr.Hyder. She answers all of my questions and does really good returning my phone calls. However the receptionist Norma, is very rude. She has given me attitude on every visit. She raises her voice to show authority.I think she should work on her attitude and her people skills.

My child has been going to Dr. Hyder for over 10 years and I can't imagine taking him to another doctor. Whenever we have had an urgent need, the receptionist has done her best to get him seen that day. What I was the most impressed with is how she worked with my son when it was discovered he had a penicillin allergy. She worked with us for two weeks, calling about every other day to see if the new medication was working or if we needed to switch to something else for him.

Terrible. If you call in and your child is sick, a nurse will give you an over the phone diagnosis. If you try to schedule an appointment for your child being sick, most likely she won't see you until the next week. If you need paperwork faxed to a lab or specialist, it will never get done. If you are waiting for a call back... You will be waiting. When you finally do see her, she will tell you it's viral and instruct you to rotate Tylenol and Motrin. She should seriously retire.
