I had surgery performed by Dr. Sorrento for a fibula fracture and ankle dislocation. I highly recommend him. He is a great surgeon, professional, and courteous. He answered all of my many questions at follow up appointments, and communicated quickly with me through the portal about things I forgot to ask at appointments. I thank him for all he did for me.

I would highly recommend Dr. Sorrento. I just had my last visit with him today and I am extremely happy with the outcome of my 2 lapiplasty surgeries to correct my bunions. Dr. Sorrento is kind, caring, very personable and ALWAYS took the time to explain everything to me. Having both of these procedures in my 60’s was scary, but I look back and am very thankful I decided to have both procedures and most thankful I choose Dr Sorrento.

Excellent Surgeon and Excellent Care!
In February 2021 I had a bad fall at home. My left foot immediately swelled and turned horrible shades of black and blue. I was evaluated at a local ER and was told it was just a bad sprain. Three weeks later my foot was still swollen and bruised so I went to see Dr. Sorrento at OAA. With just looking at the ER x-ray and my foot, Dr. Sorrento knew I had done some damage but ordered an MRI to be certain. Sure enough, I had fractured the Lis Frank ligament and two other fractured bones. I was in surgery within a few days to repair the damage. It was a long 9 months of two surgeries, scooters, walking boots and crutches, but I was released back to normal activities in November. During the entire ordeal, Dr. Sorrento was fantastic. He was compassionate, kind and understanding. He explained everything that was going on in detail. He is an excellent surgeon and an even better person. I highly recommend Dr. Dean Sorrento and OAA of Allentown!
