Dr Palmer is a excellent. I give him 5 stars.
Dr Palmer is an expert in his field. He speaks to his patients after each procedure. The staff is the Pre- Op is very competent as well as comforting This is my 3rd colonoscopy with Dr Palmer and I am completely content with his expertise in his field and the care that I received from him There NEEDS to still be additional research in the pre work that needs to be done before a colonoscopy. The weakness and possible dehydration is something that a patient shouldn’t have to deal with before the actual procedure

Poor Staff
Disclaimer: This rating is for the staff and not the doctor. The reason I'm putting this review is because I never got a chance to see the doctor. I called about being a new patient and needed an initial routine colonoscopy screening. The girl who answered the phone said that I would be seen first by one of the doctor's 2 nurse practitioners. They would walk me through the procedure and what's required and then I would be scheduled to see the doctor for the procedure next. I left my contact information and was told one of the NP would see me. Well, it's been several days now and still no one has reached out to me. Long story short, I'll be looking for a different gastroenterologist. Too bad, cause this doctor has pretty good ratings overall. Unfortunately, I never got a chance to experience his service. Recommend staff get a good talking to.

My first visit with Dr. palmer’s office I waited 90 minutes in the lobby before being taken in to see a nurse. She was very apologetic and did a really good job. In fact the staff is all very nice so I went back for a follow up. This time after waiting 70 minutes in the lobby I could not wait any longer and as politely as possible told the staff I was leaving. A patient’s time is valuable as well. It was very inconsiderate and unprofessional. I won’t be back.

I had gone to 5 different doctors over 3 years trying to figure out what was wrong with me. Dr. Palmer was the only one who was able to figure that I had a rare hereditary disease and for that I'll be forever grateful.

Excellent physician however his staff is out to destroy his practice. They make it impossible for patients to make appointments. Left messages daily for 2 weeks requesting appointment from Debbie. Then needed script faxed to hospital for barium enema, Memorial hospital called his office 15 times requesting script. 8 faxes were sent, each missing doctors name, patients name, or diagnosis. After 2.5 hours, received correct fax but too late for Radiologist to do study. Won't be back!

Dr. Palmer is incredibly intelligent, professional and kind. I met with Dr. Palmer regarding wounds on my legs that could not be healed. The wound center told me my wounds could have an underlying GI problem and seeing a specialist might help my wounds. A friend at work recommended Dr. Palmer as "the best" and she is correct. Dr. Palmer was thorough on my first visit and knowledgeable about the condition that the wound care thought I might have. I highly recommend Dr. Palmer.
