Dr. Dean Lin, MD

Excellent listening by his PA and then Dr. Lin. My questions were answered. Then silence while I had a chance to absorb the recommendations. Emotions take a while to process and I am thankful for the silence. I am following their recommendations. I did not get a magic solution but it is doable and I am grateful for the help.

Dr Dean Lin had to perform a Spinal Fusion for me as my spine was out of alignment, It was an unavoidable circumstance for my condition. My experience was very friendly, informative and supportive. From the doctor the administrative staff to the physical therapist and the nurses the experience was a solid 10. It has been a year since this surgery took place and I am doin great and out of pain. Everyone on his staff was very Proffessional and caring to a point that any insecurities I had were of no concern to me. Dr Dean Lin's care for his patients is clearly expressed thru the thoroughness of his staff. Thank You everyone that supported this experience and to Dr Dean Lin for being so great.

I am a 78 year young fellow. I first encountered Dr. Lin by referral about 7 years ago after having numerous pain management sessions and a multitude of spinal injections attempting to alleviate intense left leg pain, sciatica and interrupted sleep. Dr. Lin took me on a tour of my MRI in a manner that left me with extreme confidence that he was the answer to improving my quality of life. He performed an L4,L5 spinal fusion which within weeks left me totally pain free. It was remarkable. As is often the case of spinal deterioration, I began to have the same symptoms in my right leg in 2021. I went through the same routine of pain management, injections, etc, until with no relief I returned to Dr. Lin and once again this wonderful Doctor filled me with confidence that he could give my quality of life a much needed shot n the arm. On November 10, 2021, Dr. Lin performed a second spinal fusion on L2,L3. Today, having passed the 4 month mark I am totally pain free. i

Dr. Lin was very kind, professional and informative. Further tests, diagnosis, and surgery were completed in a timely manner. The Memorial Medical office and other medical staff were very efficient and thorough. My surgery was completed at Gulf Coast outpatient. The staff were very caring and helpful and in particular the operating nurses were outstandingly kind! Dr. Lin thoroughly reviewed the surgery and my aftercare with my family.

In Sept. 2017, Dr. Lin performed Fusion surgery on me, fusing L4 to L5. To this day, over 2 years later, I have not had any pain in my back or legs. I suffered with back pain for most of my adult life, and then it started to radiate down my leg, making it difficult to work. I wish I had known of this amazing neurosurgeon years before, so I could have gotten relief much sooner and enjoyed a better quality of life, which I certainly do now. I have family in medical practice in SWFL and they highly recommended Dr. Lin as well.

I had an exceptional experience with the entire process. I had put off any type of back surgery as I had not heard many positive results. Dr. Lin could not have been nicer, or more concerned with the excruciating pain I was having down my left leg. He is a compassionate, caring, and highly skilled surgeon. My pain was entirely gone from the time I came out of anesthesia, I was already walking down the hall on my walker. Did not need it for more than a week. I am giving Dr. Lin a 5 star rating because there was no six listed. Highly recommend this talented surgeon.

I absolutely love Dr. Lin. From my first visit with him, through surgery and post op He was wonderful. His staff was awesome as well. Everyone of my concerns were addressed promptly. I am 13 weeks post op from C5/C6 disectomy and feel great!
