Awful
The most condescending and least compassionate doctor I have ever met and I work in the medical field. Unwilling to think outside of his VERY small box. My daughter was there for an immune deficiency and had been suffering for three weeks with severe mouth ulcers and he never even looked in her mouth. I mentioned scientific journal articles from PubMed and he dismissed them as “something I read on the internet”. Truly the worst. I still can’t believe it happened. Don’t ever step foot in his office unless you want to pay a $90 copay to be insulted and dismissed because he doesn’t want to have to think.

No
This doctor's mishaps, lack of follow through, willful ignorance, and refusal to document my medical problems accurately has just about destroyed my life. I lost the ability to work and function. He was the only doctor who really saw the problem but kept expecting someone else to deal with it while he left me high and dry. Don't be fooled by the kindly demeanor, he is cold and cares nothing about his patients. He even put his nurse up to bullying me on the phone. The way I was treated was just horrible. They whitewash themselves and scapegoat the patient. The mistakes made here just keep having negative consequences on my life far down the road. He has no willingness to do the right thing.

Very misinformed doctor and unwilling to learn. I keep finding out more all the time about how wrong he was in his medical knowledge. It is unbelievable how wrong he was, and how much confidence he had in saying what he was wrong about. I put way too much confidence in his opinion.

Stay away from this doctor, especially if you are seeking help with MCAS. He tested me for it on my first visit, but he did not understand how to run the tests correctly or how to interpret the results. His mistake derailed my medical care for 3 years. Meanwhile my attacks worsened to the point of interfering with my ability to work, and I repeatedly asked for help, but he dismissed my symptoms and did nothing. I have shown him numerous research papers and publications and patient stories to illustrate diagnostic standards for MCAS, but he ignores it all. I had to insist on additional testing, and the results DO support a diagnosis, but he still denies it as "not likely." It was his idea to begin with. He never established a proper standard of care, then terminated me when I tried to hold him accountable to one. Worst of all he never documented my drug reactions properly, and wanted to prescribe for me without considering dangerous side effects. Dismissive gaslighting and no empathy.

Worst allergist on the planet. Dr Firschein had me pay a boatload of money out of pocket directly to him for a non effective non FDA approved treatment, when my insurance company was willing to pay for the cure the whole time. Dr Firschein is the very definition of a total hack

Well, where do I begin. I was bitten by a tick that possibly infected me where I can't eat red meat. It has taken 4 weeks to set up an appointment. I called the business office to see if I would be able to pay my Co-Pay ($50.00) two days after the appointment. I called 5 days before this appointment to see if they would work with me. Was told "absolutely NOT" if you cant pay when you come. we cant see you!!!! Corporation over patient care.

This doctor is probably the best doctor I have ever come into contact with. The entire office is probably the best office I've ever come into contact with. A few of the words I would use to describe Dr. Firschein would be: highly intelligent, straight to the point, warm, caring, assertive, and determined. Thank you Dr. Firschein for taking such excellent care of our daughter today.
