Dr. Dean Behner, MD

I used to think Dr. Behner was a nice guy. But my last visit he was a total jerk! I would have walked out after 5 minutes of his abuse, but he was supposed to refill my anxiety Rx, but then he didn't.It was a hospital follow up visit, I was in for 16 days. Still not well, had to get someone to drive me there.I fired him the next day!I usually see Diane Truley APRN, FNP-C. She's an angel. I don't think anyone could ever say anything bad about her. I'm actually going to miss her alot.

He withholds maintenence prescription refills as hostage to make you get tests he can bill to your insurance. I needed a refill on an asthma maintenence prescription and he refused to give a refill until I got tests which have nothing to do with asthma! I told him I would get the tests if he refilled my script and he said I have to get the tests first. How can I trust him, he obviously is trying to pad his bills for insurance. I have never ever had a Dr. refuse to refill my asthma script. I will be going back to my previous Dr., it will be a commute but at least she won't play games with my asthma script!

My family have been patients of doctor Behner's for years and we love him and the people who work in his office. The level of service since he switched over to wellmed is shocking. I never thought I would look for another doctor but we're strongly considering it now now they keep saying things will get better but it's been months and it's not it's only getting worse.

Pleasant office. Helpful staff.. Draws blood im his office, saving a trip to the laboratory. He has a kind and friendly manner. I like him. Seems competent, but then I'm no doctor.

Listen to your questions and answer them clearly so it very easy to understand. I have been going there for a number of years, love the friendly staff.

I was just there yesterday. Dr. Behner and staff are always friendly and attentive. Never had a bad visit. I usually go every 90 days for check up and I am usually a little early. Sometimes they can take me before my appointment which is nice, but I have never had to wait. Tracy does an excellent job taking blood and my blood pressure etc. I usually wait about 5 minutes or so after that and then Dr. Behner comes in goes over my blood work and adjusts my meds as needed. Also asks about other issues if any. The place is not filthy and the a/c works fine. I would recommend him to anyone that wants good care.

I really like Dr. Behner and his staff. 2 problems I had with prescriptions were quickly resolved due to his up-to-date knowledge of new drugs available to replace "old school" drugs. Negative reviews must have been done by people having a bad day and looking to blame someone else.

Dr. Behner is a "pill stacker". If you have side effects from a particular med, instead of trying another med he will prescribe another pill to counteract the side effects. He doesn't like to be questioned and will become "red-faced" and leave the room. He's old school in his practice. You have to tell him if it's a good idea for a certain test or an opinion. The only thing that he is proactive on is bloodwork.

my 3 month check up

Dr Behner is a caring soft spoken physician who listens to my concerns and is not quick handing out pills. His staff is friendly and always show concern for their patients.

This place is absolutely unprofessional and the doctor and some of the staff are so rude... The receptionist should go back home and take a nap. Its a very uncomfortable place to come... The place is absolutely Filthy...... theres no circulation, AC sucks.... I have nothing good to say about this place... I have been there 4 times now, and they constantly want blood work... I feel they are frauding our insurance.....

After scheduling my wellness check for insurance purposes they decided to bill me for an office visit. After trying to explain the situation I was rudely told that it’s their policy to have an office visit before any wellness exam, they didn’t tell me about it upfront, even after scheduling it as such and mentioning it three times. Instead I was call a lier, and I just misunderstood, Even though I made it clear what I needed. So unless you want to schedule an appoint for one thing and fraudulent

I just left the office. I was called and told my mother needed follow up blood work as soon as possible and maybe a blood transfusion. I was told they were closed 12-2 for lunch and any other time fine. I took off work early to get this done and was told when I arrived it had to be certain hours. Needless to say patient care and consideration is not a priority at this office. When I called back to find out the certain hours and to voice my opinion all I got was an OK from them.
