Dr. Dawn Tottenham, MD

Went to CityMd for pain in my ribs. Dr Tottenham was a breath of fresh air. She was very thorough and her bedside manner made me feel very comfortable and at ease. I wish she had a private practice since I’d follow her anywhere!!

Feb 2025 I took my 3 yr old who just started violently vomiting at 4 pm then wasn’t getting better to Rocky Point Urgent Care city MD upon arrival the receptionist seemed annoyed and when we went back in to weigh my daughter Dr Dawn Tottenham said out loud very loud “is this a joke?” Now mind you it was around closing but she never gets sick and we took her where we knew in a panic. She was rude and condescending throughout the whole visit. She in myOpinion should think of another progression. I get having bad days and being tired but to be like that to a family with a sick kid in a panic is insane to me. I went home and cried in the bathroom I was sick to my stomach that this is how my daughter’s visit went. Shame on Dawn and Rocky Point Urgent care. Find a new job if it makes your miserable.

Visited her in Rocky Point. She was rude and condescending and loves to roll her eyes. No real diagnosis but did prescribe me medicine. When I asked if I was contagious she said 'dont cough in peoples faces and wash your hands'She proceeded to talk smack about me while i was waiting for my test results (I read a similar complaint in another review) Why do people like this go into the medical field?

I was treated by Dr Tottenham in the Rocky Point City MD ,I was so impressed by her attention,concern and treatment I want to thank her for the wonderful visit

Doesn’t deserve any stars. Worse experience. Do not see her. I pray she loses her license.

I recently saw Dr. Tottenham at CityMD. She was the most thorough and caring doctor I have ever seen. I wish I could see her every time I go there.

Saw Dr. Tottenham is the most rudest, condescending Dr I ever felt with. I will make it a point if I go to City MD in Rocky Point to request NOT having her. She should rethink her profession!

My experience with Dr. Tottenham was the WORST. I took my dad to get a check up for a concern. He had not been feeling well and had some of the flu symptoms and as someone else had flu in the house, we wanted to make sure he did not have this. Before she walked into the room, she had another medical professional explain to her the reason my dad was there and after he did, she very clearly and loudly said "That is the stupidest reason to visit a doctor, and I know they can hear me say that and I am okay with that." She did a very basic check up and said go home and take Advil. He's been doing this for a few days already and it wasn't working. I am a medical professional myself and I have been in many hospital settings, worked with many different doctors and I have never seen such an awful doctor in my entire life. She is inconsiderate, rude and honestly, if you value your family member's health, do not bring them to her.

Dr. Tottenham was caring, attentive and thorough. I had accidentally cut my face and she took the time to not only address the wound, but ensure there would not be permanent scarring. 2 weeks later and the scar is barely noticeable!

Very thorough exam. Explained diagnosis in great detail. Made sure I had no additional questions. Spends as long as necessary with patient. A winner.

Even though the office was crowded, she took ample time to check me out and explained everything very thoroughly. She went over every medicine she was giving me and explained how and when to take it. She was very competent and caring.
