I am still in shock about these low ratings for Dr. Christopher. I just love her and the staff at Chesapeake in Leonardtown, Maryland. I have never had a problem with her listen and giving me 100% of her time and attention at every visit. I have AFIB, CHF, Angina and an enlarged heart and she took very good care of me. If I had any issues she didn't hesitate to have me fully checked out. Her attitude as my cardiologist was spot on. Her bedside manner, attitude toward me as her patient was always professional and caring. If anything was off even slightly she didn't hesitate to act immediately. She always listened to my concerned and acted accordingly. Everyone has their own experience and opinions about everyone and anyone but as for me, I think Dr. Dawn Christopher is awesome!! I wish she would come back to Leonardtown.

Saw Dr. Christopher based on a referral from my primary physician for Atrial Fibrillation. Very little discussion of background of my situation, and what seemed to me a very quick plan of action moving towards a cardioversion procedure. She proscribed medication which she suggested I would take for 2-3 weeks to see if it might correct the AFIB without the procedure. However the prescription she sent to the pharmacy was apparently for a year's supply as I ended up with 7 bottles.

Dr Christopher ordered testing to be done by LabCorp and Insurance refused to pay. I asked the office to check the coding on the bill and nothing was done. I ended up having to pay 658.14

I was a patient of Dr. Christopher’s, seeing her for chest pain, shortness of breath, and strong family history of heart disease. From the first appointment I felt as if she didn’t listen, routinely cut me off as I tried to explain my concerns, and always seemed to be in a hurry. I felt she was very quick to offer diagnosis and courses of action without understanding all the issues involved, and seemed dismissive of critical points I tried to relay to her. Since I’m in my 50’s, with a strong his
