Wouldn't refer my worst enemy to him!
He is by far the worst Dr. EVER. Stay as far away from him as possible. Why he's allowed to practice is beyond me. He doesn't even deserve a 1 star!

Very unlikely.
Dr. Bhamber disappeared after having me do blood works. Office is dark and not used by him anymore. I cannot get hold of him. Same recorded message on 3 different phone numbers, no response.

Stay Away
My father fell and broke his collar bone. He was transferred from the hospital to Bradenton HealthCare for physical therapy where we were told his doctor would be Dr. Bhamber. We never saw this Dr. Tried to call, no callback. Tried to set up an appointment to see him, but nothing. No response from him at all. The first and only time I spoke to Dr. Bhamber was when my father ended up with Covid and his vitals started dropping and he was transferred to the hospital. He wasn't calling to tell us anything but that he recommended Hospice. For over a month we tried to talk to this man and nothing. He only contacted me to tell me there was nothing more he could do to help my father. Well, you didn't do anything to help my father to begin with. If I could give Dr. Bhamber a negative number of stars I would.

Hard to imagine worse
Most of us submit to doctor’s orders for those bothersome routine screenings, like mammograms, colonoscopies, and prostate checks, because while none of those are pleasant, we know the most valuable currency in cancer is time. Early detection can change the patient outcome. So imagine a doctor who sees a patient, one who is a heavy smoker, for decades, and never does a chest x-ray. Imagine that patient develops a rattling and worsening cough. Over several months, you throw antibiotics and steroids at it to no avail and finally agree to a chest x-ray when the suffering patient desperately suggests it. Imagine the doctor who sees you, for years, (sees you every month in fact) NOW asks, “You don’t smoke, do you?” You can probably figure out the rest of the story. If you’d like a doctor who is utterly negligent, does not follow basic protocols for preventative health, but happily collects your payment every thirty days, this is your man. In other words, run screaming for the woods

Unable to contact the provider or leave a message. Always lost to follow up. If you want a responsive communicative provider this is not the practice for you.

o what’s on my mind today is Dr. Bhamber. I’m in Blake Medical Center being treated for injuries and entire time I’ve been here he’s been in here for exactly 20 seconds because I watched the clock, didn’t listen to a word I said, cut off medications that I should’ve had according to my file which he didn’t bother to look at either because I’ve been here a few times. basically did nothing more than punch a clock He did the bare minimum just so he can collect his money, he has no empathy and the worst bedside manner I’ve ever seen in my life he is absolutely the worst Dr. I’ve ever seen in my life so if you come to Blake Medical Center make sure you do not get Dr. Bhamber.

My mother saw him when she was in the hospital. He was very rude to her when she simply asked a question regarding the medication she had been given. She never wants to deal with him again!

I've been a patient of Dr. Bhamber for almost 6 yrs. He may not be one for small talk but he does ask questions and listens to get an idea of what is going on. He does enter all details and orders in the computer as he should with urgency..He is a caring Dr once you get to know him a bit and is quite intelligent. My mom, who is also his patient and has serious conditions , has been hospitalized numerous times under his care and he was there at the hospital to follow up everyday in between his 2 offices where he works as well, mon thru friday.Another great thing is if you need an appointment, the friendly staff will get you in there. Lastly, I've never had to wait very long in the office. It may be a bit longer when snowbirds are here.

I wish that I could give a zero rating. Because my wife who already had copd got pneumonia, her stay at Blake medical center was two weeks long. Under Medicare rules, hospitals get paid less the longer the patient stays in the hospital. Bhamber admitted to me that there were financial considerations in the way patients are treated. As my wife’s condition got worse,he kept saying that it was getting better. We live 1000 miles away from Blake medical center. He made no efforts to coordinate with her doctors in Maryland. He did not at first respond with their efforts to reach him. Both Bhamber and Blake medical center treated my wife like a sack of meat.

Would not recommend. does not communicate well, was not capable of answering a simple question about my loved one. To bad he had to have Dr Bhamber as his doctor in the nursing home. I wont go into detail here . I've said enough to give a warning.

The reviews I read before visiting him were totally opposite of what I experienced. When the receptionist brought me into his office he was typing on the computer and didn't greet me until 30 seconds later. I was there for a physical exam. He never examined me....the visit consisted of him asking questions about my medical history and typing the answers into his computer. He finished and gave me a prescription for lab work and said... see the receptionist on your way out.
