Excellent and Thorough
Dr. Wolfe has been very helpful treating and monitoring my fibromyalgia. I decided to ask him to help me with my knee osteoarthritis after less-than-satisfactory visits with two orthopedists. Dr. Wolfe showed me issues on the x-ray he ordered that neither orthopedist had mentioned. He asked me to get an MRI so he could see what else was going on that the x-ray could not see, before recommending a course of treatment. The MRI showed several serious issues that will require surgery. Dr. Wolfe's thoroughness has saved me a great deal of worry and pain. I'm very surprised by the (few) negative reviews, as Dr. Wolfe has never appeared to hurry, listens intently, and explains things very clearly.

I have no idea why 2 people gave less than satisfactory ratings. Dr. Wolfe is brilliant. He is easy to talk to. He explains everything. He cares about his patients. He takes tall he time needed for appointments. A couple of years ago because of my increasing osteoporosis pain and stiffness I was ready for a wheelchair. I didn't give up. I found Dr. Wolfe. He dealt with this head on. After only 6 weeks I am rarely in pain. I am so grateful to Dr. Wolfe. He's a good guy too. If I could give him 10 stars I would. I have referred him to friends. Dr. Wolfe is the best.

My husband was a new patient to Dr. Wolfe. Dr. Wolfe came into the room, introduced himself with a firm handshake first to my husband and then to me. He sat down and asked questions to understand the reason for the visit and to document my husband's medical history. He listened patiently, was very thorough in his evaluation and made suggestions for treatment. Both of us left his office feeling confident with his knowledge and his empathetic care.

I had two appointments with Dr. Wolfe. Both times he appeared to be in a huge rush to finish with me. On the second visit he told me I had an incurable, serious disease, told me I'd be taking a medication, and got up to leave. NOTHING about prognosis, pain management, what side effects the medication may cause. I said wait, I have questions, and he did sit back down but looked annoyed and answered curtly, clearly in a hurry. Avoid this man! This is not how care should be.
