I waited in the office for 2 hours before he saw me. What is the point of giving appointments? I chose him because he was available the earliest. The nurses claimed they sent the prescription but had forgotten to do so. Never coming back here.

Extremely dishonest. Billing is dishonest. Bills insurance incorrectly so the patient has to pay the bill instead of the insurance. Billing and nurses are rude. They overbook and have no time to spend with patient. Received a bill before I saw the doctor. They herd you in and out like cattle. Never ever received a consultation prior to colonoscopy. Had colonoscopy done because I had never had one done., as part of wellness check. They wrote it up as necessary. It was not urgent. . Just for $

Dr. Welch saw my father at JCMC for GI complications. My father also has cirrhosis, which is well documented in his medical records. Dr. Welch advised him to take over the counter Tylenol for pain. When Tylenol is the most common for causing drug induced liver failure ESPECIALLY in patients who are already liver compromised. Dr. Welch did not advise him about taking lower doses to avoid further damage. Dr. W told him he could eat whatever he wanted, despite discharge orders of full liquid diet.

He visited me in the hospital because my Dr. was in his group. He was brisk and borderline rude. He only stayed about 2 to 3 minutes. I do not recommend him.
