way too casual and invalidating
Came in and didnt look at my chart at all, then asked what was up. I explained how my symptom's are identical to what I was coming in for. He asked me what those were, I brought up a document on my phone and he had googled the disorder. Completely dismissive and causal when I politely asked why I didn't meet the criteria. Proceeded to tell me its 'probably a different disorder bc i dont have 1 of the symptoms, however its not necessary or important to get a diagnosis because theres no cure'. ITS IMPORTANT TO ME?? I asked how to go about getting that diagnosis if it wasn't what I came in for because I'm still having issues. He nonchalantly strolled out and left papers on the bed. I thought he was coming back and after about 10 minutes I realized thats how he had left it??? I waited 3 months for this and Ill be getting a second opinion. oh he also left the entire computer open so I assumed he was coming back at least for that. Nope. I could have looked at all the patients he had.
