The number one thing that I wanted and looked for was professional and seriousness no matter how or what my situation was. I was treated by a facility and staff that I haven't encountered in a long time. Prompt service as well. Five stars from me!

I was lucky, and when I stupidly biked in front of a pickup doing 25mph, survived with a only a broken hip and pelvis. Still, needed lots of mending and a couple of screws that went halfway across my body. Now, 4 months later - thanks to Dr. T., back to 100%. He explains clearly what's going on and patiently answers questions. Couldn't ask for more. Thanks. PS - office staff and xray techs also very pleasant and easy to work with.

I met Dr. Tainter in the OR. He was kind, reviewed my injuries, made recommendations and listened to my input. Follow up visits were thorough and he always addressed my concerns and answered questions. He’s very personable and his staff has always been kind as well.

Wonderful surgeon. I can’t believe I’m saying I got lucky when I got my leg crushed at work. The lucky part of that was having Dr. Tainter repair my badly broken leg. When I was hit by a drunk, my family didn't think I'd survive. My knee, hip, lungs, and more were crushed. Dr. Tainter was my hero that night. Everyone is surprised at how fast I'm recovering, but it's because of an excellent surgery that makes healing so easy. Thank you Dr. Tainter, the hero's hero.

After falling on Halloween and breaking my femur, Dr. Tainter agreed to take my case. He has a very pleasant bedside manner and put me at ease right away. He performed surgery on 11/212022, putting an IM rod in my femur. My recovery has been remarkable and I would recommend Dr. Tainter to family and friends!

After falling one morning, I was brought to Christiana Care Emergency for evaluation. Dr. David Tainter was recommended to do my surgery. I met Dr. Tainter in prep for my surgery and found him to have a very calming bedside manner. He answered all my questions, leaving me feel very confident in his care. At my post op appointment at his office again he took time to go over everything and answered questions making me very comfortable. Without any hesitation, I would recommend Dr. Tainter to family and friends knowing they were in good hands.

Dr. Tainter performed surgery on my ankle after an accident. He was extremely thorough and explaining the procedure and has been even better during post op consultations.

Dr. Tainter was the on-call surgeon when I fell and fractured my ankle in 3 places. His surgery was so exceptional that I was weight bearing at only 3 weeks. I have healed so quickly and completely and I totally credit Dr Tainter for his skill and care.

Dr. Tainter was assigned my surgeon at Christiana Hospital Trauma Center for a 3-part ankle fracture. I was relying upon my assigned surgeon for skillful repair to quickly be on recovery path toward learning to walk again. Dr. Tainter exhibited surgical skill in repairing a major fracture, good communication skills and caring bedside manner. Accompanying anesthesiologist, hospital/DOS staff and tech Mark (making sure my one-time ride share was ok) were attentive and courteous. I felt I received excellent care. Although scars were not a concern of mine considering the trauma I was in, I'm happy with my scars (visiting nurse was impressed with my minor scar on one side of ankle and no visible scar on the other side). Dr. Tainter was assigned to me, and I am very pleased he was and thankful for his skillful surgical care. He had my confidence.

Dr. Tainter is a wonderful surgeon. He is highly skilled, patient, kind and went out of his way to help me. I was in a terrible car accident in December, and my pelvis, hips, femur, knee, and foot were all broken. He patched me back together and avoided having to amputate. He has operated on me many times since. He always takes time to answer questions and office visits are never rushed. He throughly explains my x-rays and treatment options. I am so grateful for everything Dr. Tainter has done for me. I highly recommend him.

It must be very difficult to treat Orthopaedic issues and any medical professional in this specific field has a lot of pressure on him or her. Dr Tainter and his staff are a team who know what they are doing and are professionals I highly recommend based on my personal experience . Dr Tainter is kind, knowledgeable , has prior experience and remains fair , non judge mental and lets you know your options of treatment clearly . He takes time with his patients and doesn’t act like they are asking too many questions or using up his appointment time windows . For these reasons I am taking the time to write this positive review as it is the least I can do to thank him.

I haven't come across many physicians like Dr. Tainter in this lifetime. Not only was he surgically skilled, he had excellent bedside manners. He was compassionate, patient, understanding and cared about his patients' well-being. He communicated effectively and did everything he could to make sure I achieved the best possible outcome from my injury, and that's exactly what was accomplished. I was initially assigned another trauma surgeon (who was highly praised by the staff at the hospital) for my injury, but last minute changes were made and Dr. Tainter was the one who eventually performed my surgery. Based on my results, I am beyond thrilled the last minute changes were made. If you want a well-rounded physician who prioritizes your health, Dr. Tainter is the surgeon. I rarely write reviews, but I had to make an exception because he deserves it.
