Dr. Is very knowledgeable and professional. Everything he said about the prognosis of my surgery is true. I was out of town when I broke ehip, leg and ankle so unfortunately, a different surgeon did my surgery. I truly believe I would be in great shape today if Dr. Sudyka had been my surgeon. Regardless, he has supported me in many ways such as aligning physical therapy for me, which has been so important. Thank you, Dr. Sudyka! I just recommended one of my best friends to you who may have an ACL.

My dad had a total knee replacement with Dr Surdyka in 2018 in Visalia Ca and my dad was so happy with surgery that when he needed his other one done he only wanted Dr Surdyka to operate so we traveled 3.5 hours to Victorville (where Dr Surdyka is now located) so he could have his other knee replaced. My dad is extremely happy with this surgery as well! Dr Surdyka is the best orthopedic surgeon in our eyes. He’s very knowledgeable and caring. Thank you Dr Surdyka

Been 3 weeks since I saw Doc was supposed to have an authorization to get a nerve test. From what Ive learned they wont call you instead you call in and hope and pray the answering service will do their job(News flash they wont!). When you do finally reach someone that works there all they can say is call back later. Im sure Ill get a comment here to call them but hey how does that work when you cant even answer the phone! UPDATE: they can talk to my insurance about me and other doctors but hey not a single phone call!

I had fractured my tibia while hiking. Dr Surdyka performed surgery and placed a titanium rod inside the tibia. Dr. Surdyka was very professional and answered all my questions. He is kind and thoughtful and I think he really cares about his patients. Now, at thirteen weeks after surgery, I am back to my morning walking routine and will be back on the hiking trails soon! Thanks to Dr Surdyka and his staff for their care, their skill and their professionalism.

While Dr. Surdyka seemed knowledgeable, his bedside manner was terrible. He had an attitude like he'd really rather not be there. I was concerned I had re-injured a joint following surgery 1.5 years prior to my visit. He didn't listen well to my concerns and did accurately diagnose another issue I am having. While he did order the requested test he wasn't very supportive of it. Turns out I was correct about the re-injury. Additionally, when he left the room he said he would order the test and abruptly walked out of the room. After waiting about ten minutes thinking he would come back and hand me the order or instruct me further I went to the front to check. He was walking out the door to go home! He never came back to the room. I would choose another ortho over him in the future.

I did everything on my part to show up for a surgery-only to be turned away after 3 missed IV tries. The doctor didn't look at my entire chart now I have to go through this BS again? Oh did I mention I live 1 1/2 away? One way??!!! Bad impression!!! And I am still in crazy pain!!! Thanks for wasting my entire day! Gas for my ride and wear and tear on my vehicle. He should have to repay somehow!!! This is ridiculous!!!

I recommend you find another doctor. Dr Surdyka performed 2 procedures on me: my knee- zero improvement. My thumb - worse after A-1 pulley release. I recommend you do what I'm doing- find another doctor.

Dr. Surdyka and his staff are wonderful. He has been taking care of my sons' football and wrestling injuries throughout their high school years. He is always available and very easy to talk to. He genuinely cares and isn't quick to suggest surgery unless it is the only option. I highly recommend him and see him as well for my own orthopedic needs when necessary.

He was very nice, He listened to my mom was very professional . The office was very clean. The staff was super sweet. Always smiling I would recommend him

I broke my tibia and fibula playing roller derby in December of 2013. I had a displaced fracture that required admitting to the hospital and surgery. I am a registered nurse and familiar with how health care should function. Dr. Surdyka was assigned to my case. He was rude and would not answer my questions. He made fun of me to the nurses at the nurses station and told them I was stupid for playing roller derby. I fired Dr. Surdyka and was very happy with that choice.
