Dr. Street did a port a cath insertion on me. During the consult my husband and I didn't really know what to think. He stated flat out that the last person he did with my disease, didn't make it. Their carotid ruptured. My husband and I looked at each other and lifted our eyebrows. We did go ahead with it because despite that, he stated mine was a different version of the disease and he felt confident. We sort of appreciated his no nonsense honesty. I've had a lot of doctors blow smoke...so it was almost refreshing. The surgery went great.

I had a consult with him about gallstones and gallbladder removal. He walked in, sat down and lounged back against the wall. I asked at one point, if there were nonsurgical options. His response, "suffering". Then when I just stared at him, he went on to explain why the pills were a bad idea. But had to add, "Anyone who has experienced true gallbladder pain usually doesn't want to feel it again." I mean obviously I don't want go experience it again but he made it feel like because I am inclined to not have chunks of me removed, I must not have experienced real pain. He had openings the next day for surgery. I said yes and got in. While you're in preop they send the doctor and the anesthesiologist in to touch base before they take you back. Dr. Street came in, gave me a half hearted handshake, didn't ask how I was or anything, didn't ask if I had any questions, and just wandered back out. Thankfully the anesthesiologist was more thorough and very nice. I suggest any other surgeon.

Dr. Street performed laprascopic surgery on my husband for a double hernia. He repaired what was damaged & showing signs of pending damage - all good. He was direct & to the point, also good. What we didn't care for was he couldn't keep his eyes off my husband's groin during the initial visit or at the hospital. My husband's henia[s] were way above Dr. Street's wandering eyes & focus. Wonder how many other patients have noticed & reported him.

If you want a doctor to talk to you, explain procedures, not get upset if something doesn't work how he thought, don't pick this one!! He gets angry, throws instruments, doesn't prepare you for surgery, cussing......... Don't expect any conversations that have to do with RECOVERY either!!

Along with having impressive medical credentials, Dr Street is compassionate and kind. I liked the way he talked to me, I really felt like he "heard" my thoughts and concerns. I have experience with my medical condition, and I felt he respectfully listened to my feelings & experiences and took them into account. The staff were all warm and caring. The office is state of the art with its own Cath Lab, so you can get a lot of procedures done outside " the hospital."

My life was going quickly to a very small world. My legs keep me a prisoner, I live with such pain, thinking this is life. But Dr .Street, came into the picture, after my Legg grafts, I was given my life back. I've been to India, Africa on mission tripd, lots of walking. Iam so thankful to have been tanked in .Street's care. He is TOPOF the line in his field, very focused and knowledge based exceeds most doctors in special fields! 5 start is a low rating NEEDS 10+
