Pretty smart Doc!
I changed to Dr Steigman more than 15 years ago after he was able to figure out why I was losing weight. He did it by using those 2 tools many physicians have forgotten these days. He used his ears. He took a thorough history, and immediately said "I know what is wrong with you" and he was 100% correct. You can't go wrong with Dr Steigman.

Thorough and concerned
A thorough and concerned doctor who has good instincts and a high level of knowledge. He will stand up for his patients in order to help them, no matter what negative consequence looms in his doorway. If you want “old school” grab him. We strongly recommend him!

Dr. Steigman has been my primary care physician for over 25 years (as well as primary care Dr. for numerous family members). He’s intelligent, knowledgeable, caring, compassionate, kind and a true professional. He is one of the best Drs. in the state of Rhode Island.
