I was referred to Dr. Soybel when my hernia was so big it looked like I was going to give birth to an alien! He’s an amazing communicator, explained everything to me, and listened to my concerns. The day of my surgery, he spent 10 hours, on his feet, in my belly, putting my insides back together! I don’t give respect easily, it has to be earned, but this man has my ultimate respect. I can’t thank him enough for all that he did for me.

Extremely grateful for Dr. Soybel's handling of my case. I was sent to him after giving up hope years ago by a new doctor that the pain management clinic issued me. I had been to multiple surgeons throughout the 6 years since my injury, all of which seemed too busy or unconcerned with my issues. Dr. Soybel actually took the time to listen to my symptoms and created a plan to alleviate them. I used an alternate surgeon to actually perform the planned procedures, due to my work/leave/scheduling restraints. I plan to search him out in the future should any further issues arise.

Dr. Soybel repaired a previous hernia surgery from another Dr. I couldn't be more pleased with the results! It's been three years and no problems at all. What a relief after the first surgery didn't work. I highly recommend his service.

Dr Soybel sat and listened to all the issues I had with my pain. Then ran some test.He not only repaired my hernia he also found a second hernia, I did not know I had. Plus a tumor that caused me sever pain for several years. I was on pain meds and receiving injections for the lower back pain. Thanks to Dr. Soybel no more pain meds and no more injections. I am truly blessed to have found such a gifted surgeon!Thank you again Dr. Soybel, all the staff and Hershey hospital for such wonderful care
