Thankful
We transferred care from Loma Linda neurology because we felt our concerns about a loved one with Parkinson’s were not being heard or addressed. Dr Song and his resident Dr Kundi spent 2 hours with us, asking questions and evaluating him. We never once felt rushed and they were both very kind and empathetic. In spite of his dementia, both doctors asked him about his feelings about his illness and never rushed his slow responses. We are thrilled with his care so far.

Great office!
Very nice and clean office. Front staff was courteous and professional. Mary took me back, took vitals and she was very nice and made me feel very comfortable. The first physician took all of my info., did a myriad of tests (verbal, physical, mental) and spent at least 1/2 hour with me.......she was awesome and very nice! Dr. Song came in (after discussing her initial assessment) and he also did a minor assessment and he was very friendly and personable. Very nice man. We talked about diagnoses and a treatment plan. It was a great visit and I would highly recommend.

Worst Dr. on the planet. Sent me into Serotonin Syndrome, I kept telling him something wasn't right, he kept blaming it on me, Contradicting himself, Uncompassionate, Doesn't care about his patients, kept pushing drugs on me and OVERDOSED me on SSRI's and told me to practice "Mindfulness" when my head was scrambled and confused, muscle rigidity, fever, shivering, diarrhea, Rapid heart rate and high blood pressure. I told him ALL of this and he didn't even bother to listen or check my symptoms.

My mother had been seeing the same neurologist for her Parkinson's disease for 10 years at University of California Irvine, unfortunately he retired and we had to find a new doctor. On our first visit Dr. Song spent over two hours with us taking down my mothers medical history and getting to know her. He was very thorough. We had many questions and he answered them all. Though her previous doctor was very knowledgeable, his low key approach left us always wondering if this was the best we could do. Dr. Song has a much more proactive approach and is interested in trying new things to see if we can get better results. With our old doctor it was just the same thing all the time. For 10 years my mother had been on the same dose of medication. Today was our first follow up visit with Dr. Song and just like our first visit he again spent a lot of time with us, over half an hour. We are very please to have found Dr. Song and look forward to the next 10 years with him.

He is the MOST condescending doctor I've ever had the Displeasure of meeting. Not only that but he ignores about half of everything you tell him. I complained about a medical issue I was having and told him I had not picked up my new medications and he blamed the medical issue on the new medications I wasn't taking.

Palmdale, he certainly is very sure of himself, to a fault. I exp something similar, he was so sure of a meds treatment for my dad regardless of the prior bad reaction he exp with the same meds. Dr insisted it would work well because he is the Neuro and I was just the idiot son who simply could not understand these very complicated issues. Again, he had a bad reaction (affected heart-rate) and never saw Dr Song again. Nice btw, poor rating system, should be able to select ZERO stars, also NA

My husband had Huntington's disease and we suspected my son did also. Dr. Song responded quickly to any and all messages as we were trying to get my husband's medication figured out. In addition, he was more than willing to help me with any and all legal forms needed for nursing home placement and conservatorship. He also agreed to help us get my son tested after his death to see if he had Huntington's disease. I am so grateful to have found Dr. Song while my husband was still alive.

I saw Dr Song years in 2010, with complaints of years of worsening migraines. MRIs suggested MS. He spent most of the appointment speaking with my husband, who was not the patient, and summarily dismissed MS as a diagnosis without further consideration. Three years of progressive symptoms later I was finally diagnosed with MS by another doctor and confirmed with CSF. I was highly unsatisfied with my experience with Dr. Song.
