Dr. David Smith and his staff have been extremely kind, understanding and down to earth . Dr. David Smith has an awesome bed side manner laughs with my daughter to keep her comfortable and speaks directly to my daughter about the surgery or any underlying issues. He is honest when asked questions as to not give false promises only the truth regardless if it is the answer that my daughter wanted to hear or not. He makes sure he dots his I's and crosses his T's and does his research before he just sets up a surgery. Thank you to the staff and Doctors

I know there are a couple unpleasant reviews on here I did read them before Dr. Smith operated on my son (5 weeks old). I really had no choice. I had to leave it in Gods hands. He saved my babies life. He is very down to earth and funny and kind. I am so extremely greatful for my sons life. I am also extremely greatful he knew what he was doing and my son survived. He is absolutely beautiful and he’s still here with me! Smiling and loving on his mommy. Thank you so much Dr. Smith!!! From the bottom of my heart. I don’t have the words to express how thankful I am.

Such a great surgeon and person in general?? we love love love him. He always puts a smile on the kids and parents face and does his job well and is straight forward. Will most definetly recommend to any and everyone that needs him. His nurses are great as well and love them as well. Thank you to dr Smith, josia, and Tracy and the rest of the staff for everything they have done to make our daughter all better??????

He was overwhelmed and strung too thin when caring for our daughter. Unfortunately his careles mistake almost cost our daughters life. However, he was very friendly. I would rate his attitude a 10. I'm glad they now have more surgeons in the area.

No way would I EVER recommend this person. Not only did he and his staff dismiss and belittle our concerns about our daughter post surgery, he left a clip on her bileduct causing her to go septic. Not the only kid he did this to either. 3 years later and she is still battling through the after effects of his carelessness. If I could rate him a 0 I would.

Dr. Smith was very relatable with his patient (our 2-6 month old daughter), with my wife and I (varying medical backgrounds), and with the hospital staff and care team for her. He is very knowledgeable and skilled, and takes time to know his patients and walk them through his procedures and methods. I cannot recommend him enough to anyone in need of a pediatric surgeon.
