Extremely satisfying, despite the situation. We had a loved one in the hospital with COVID19 and all the ailments that go along with it. Dr. Shapiro (and his team, whose names i don't remember except for Lori, Laura, James, and Jeff), was amazing. They were compassionate, clearly described the situation, and went above and beyond to help communicate with us. We did eventually meet Dr. Shapiro in the hospital, but since we couldn't meet in person during May, we felt left out initially. He made efforts to update us frequently. He was interrupted with emergencies on at least two occasions, and immediately called us after those events were completed. He gave us good news and bad news, and both were delivered with compassion, respect, and absolutely no condescending attitude. We love saint francis, and took his recommendation to seek out Dr. Rabitaille (sp?) for a PCP, which we have done. THank you to Saint Frances and Thank you to the amazing nurses and respiratory technicians there. TY

Great doctor , I would go out of my way to get dr. shapiro to operate on me again. He did a great job on this 70 yr.old man. Took out my appendix almost painless. Made me feel relaxed about the surgery. I was really nervous before the surgery. THANKS AGAIN DOC. good job!
