Worst doctor I’ve ever met
I’ve seen doctor Scott now for over a year. Last year he said from my cray I had degenerative disc disease, arthritis and scoliosis. The pain has gotten worse and I can no longer carry my son. He sent me for an MRI & he immediately wanted to do steroid shots and physical therapy. He also refused to give me any pain medication. I lost my teaching job because I would get episodes where my back is locked up and pinching and I can’t walk. He seems to think this is normal for a 24 year old. His bedside manner is horrible. The last appointment my fiance was with me and the doctor wouldn’t let either of us talk and he was not willing to talk surgery as a quick fix to get me back to work. He then told me he would not sign anything for disability because I’m too young and have no reason not to work. Well I can’t work if I can’t stand or walk properly. Highly recommend UVA sports medicine as that is where I will now be going for a 2nd opinion.

He does not care to listen to patients.
He looked at the xrays that he ordered and immediately wanted to do steroid injections and PT. No exam was performed. He had no time to hear what my concerns were.

Dr Scott is a Good Dr but his staff could use some help in People skills. Not only did they forget to call my Meds in on my first visit, But today they were suppose to get with me in reference to setting up a time and date when I could get my Back Shot and I didn't here from them until later this afternoon and when I was talking to the person all she gave me was a price. Not a date. And then got a little attitude when I was asking some questions. Now I just have to wait longer. Michael Wilson

I needed to get immediate relief from recurring knee pain and could not see my regular Doctor quickly. Dr Scott was available on short notice. He went completely against established procedures, wanting to cut the established medication dose in half. Finally received full dose in one knee, nothing in the other. Usually within one to two days, I notice considerable relief. 5 days later, no relief. Placebo?
