The next day after the vascular treatment, I felt a lightness in my legs that I hadn't felt for years. And now about month after the treatment, on my commute home (I have a job where I sit for long periods), I noticed the feeling of swelling in my ankles was gone - usually by that time in my work day I would feel swelling. So far, I am very pleased with the results.

Dr. Schmitt will be my doctor again if the need arises! He doesn’t say too much, but gets the job done. He explains everything & answers all questions. Good bedside manners. He even joked with me because I didn’t know which rehab facility I would be going to. He said I couldn’t come to his house because it was full!?? Got a chuckle out of that remark.

Excellent surgeon. Very little, if any, pain after surgery. No need for strong pain meds. Quick recovery time. No problems after surgery.

Dr. Schmitt is extremely patient and willing to take time to answer any and all questions (no matter how small). He has great bedside manner delivering both good and bad news. He is very thorough in explaining procedures and expectations during recovery. He always took time for me even when I had random questions and concerns in between appointments. He understands and cares how you are feeling during very difficult times. I would highly recommend him to my friends and family.

I had Hernia surgery a few months a go and my Gallbladder out a little over a week ago with Dr. Schmitt. The staff is EXCELLENT. They talk with you, and make you feel at ease with everything going on with you. Dr. Schmitt is excellent telling you what he is doing and for you to ask questions. Friendly staff from start to finish and a great facility to be at when you are having surgery.

I am an active 45 year old male who had an inguinal and navel hernia. I let my health issues get progressively worse over 4 mos and finally decided to seek medical attention when I could no longer run, lift and play tennis without significant pain. I am ten days out from surgery and am back to 90%, with 100% expected in two more weeks. Dr. Schmitt changed my life in a positive way. I am active again. I feel great. I highly recommend Dr. Schmitt!
