We needed to see a pediatric orthopedic surgeon ASAP for my 7 year old broken elbow. Everyone told us goto HSS. I called and they called me back in 50 minutes with appointment setup. We arrived at HSS and everthing worked like clockwork!Dr. Scher took the time to explain everything to us and to my son. VERY IMPORTANT he took the time to answer my sons repeated questions without hesitation. You see my son was nervous and kept asking the same questions over and over again. Dr. Scher was attentive and super reassuring putting my son at ease.Dr. Scher explained exactly what they were going to do step by step and his assistant told me that things would move fast (I expected to spend the whole day). In total we saw the doctor twice, took x-rays and had casting in a total of less than 1.5 hours. Amazing!

Dr Scher is fantastic with my son. He is thorough and very patient. He answers all of our questions and take time to explain things directly to my son.

Dr Scher has been a wonderful physician to my daughter for many years. He brought her condition from serious to normalcy, which is marvellous. My daughter was born with a rare foot deformity called Oblique Tallus and I was referred to Dr. Scher by my pediatrician. I thank god for that referral every day! Since her birth in October 2016 Dr. Scher has been treating her and has performed 2 surgeries to correct my daughter's feet. The level of knowledge and care that this man offers is extraordinary! We are so thankful for Dr. Scher and his team for everything he has done for our daughter and for us! Thank you.
