Super Doctor he explained the procedure I was having in great detail and the time it would take. The wait time in the office was very short. I would give this Doctor a 10. The receptionist at the desk was extremely friendly and helpful with my needs.

Zero
My excellent insurance covers specialists with a $40.00 copay for in office procedure. Today after getting pathology results for a small basil cell spot i arrived at my appointment for removal (no MOES surgery). I was told there would be a $500.00 deductible before the removal. I again told office staff that they had done the same procedure with the $40.00 co-pay and they demanded $500.00 . Went back to my old derm and $40.00 copay. Way to back the blue doc . No sable no basil still got my wallet !

Drove an hour for 30 seconds, not ethical
First the practice I normally goto sent me to this guy about a clogged oil gland. looked at it for all of 30 seconds. He didn?t deserve a penny for what he did however my insurance will surely be billed a stupid amount of money for NOTHING. Myself a self employed man who wasted a day of work to see this guy who ultimately will be paid 10x what i lost today for his measly 30 seconds of his day. As i got there people were already leaving to go home and it wasn?t even five yet. They just wanted to bill by insurance twice. He did offer me for me to pay $600 cash to have it done same way. What a tool!!!!trust me every place I can leave a bad review for him I will.

If I could rate this doctor zero I would. I went for a full-body exam since I have a history of skin cancer. I requested this when making the appointment and reiterated when there. Dr. Sable spent no more than 2 minutes examining me!! 2 minutes! He never once looked at my face, hair line, checked my scalp, under my arms, my feet nor did he have me stand in order to look at the back of my legs, etc. In the 40+ years I have been going to dermatologists he is the ABSOLUTE WORST excuse of a doctor I've ever seen. Will never return nor recommend. He should be ashamed.

Excellent doctor and caring human being. Did extensive surgery that was sorely needed because previous dermatologist had let things slide. Fixed me up, and kept up with the new crop! Became a friend.

In February, I had Mohs surgery scheduled with Dr. Sable when he abruptly left his practice at St. Luke's. This was two days before my surgery. I was left scrambling to find another surgeon to do the procedure, and of course, the surgery had to be delayed. I believe that Dr. Sable should have practiced professional courtesy and notified his patients who had already scheduled surgery with him.
