Dr. David Rouben, MD

There is no one like Dr. Rouben to me he is the best orthopedic Dr around been going to him for over 50 yr. he is the best surgeon around i recommend him highly

He is the first Dr I’ve ever had who listens and Sixt to find the answer to solve problems that I was having. I ended up having to have three surgeries. I had two surgeries on my lower back and one surgery on my neck. Another doctor said that there was nothing he could do for me, and nobody else would either Dr. Rouben proof that theory wrong!!!!!

Dr, Rouben has kept my back pain in check for 27 years. He only did surgery when it was absolutely necessary. This has helped me lead a normal life despite the challenges with my spine. He has a direct approach and tells you the truth. Best orthopedist out there.

While I’ve not yet had surgery with Dr. Rouben, I’ve had several appointments with him to consult and run more tests. Originally I chose him for a second opinion after the original surgeon wanted to operate again, and higher (almost to the brain stem). But after seeing Dr. Rouben I felt more at ease and was given the proper amount of knowledge about my condition, informing me that surgery would be needed eventually but that there should be no hurry. This man treats me like I’m his own son and I immediately felt at ease. If there were more than 5 stars to show a rating, he would max out every single time.

He definitely cares about the well-being of his patients. He is concerned about the amount of pain his patients are enduring & is compassionate.

I am very thankful for Dr. Rouben. Because of him I am now pain free and able to enjoy my life again! Exceptional surgeon and very professional and caring.

Dr. Rouben did a wonderful job. Him and his medical assistant, Malinda, we’re terrific all the way through. From helping me find a place to stay in Louisville until a couple months after my surgery, they were always there. I needed my medication changed (several times), letters for my employer and help figuring out which exercises I needed at first and then plans for PT. Dr. Rouben was always available. He even answered my email request on a Sunday! And his bedside manner was just as wonderful. I would highly recommend Dr. Rouben for any back or orthopedic surgery with confidence. It’s been almost three months now and I’m walking a couple miles at a time and my PT is complete. Thank you Dr. Rouben and Malinda for taking such good care of me.
