My mother has been seeing Dr. Richter for several years. He is friendly, informative, patient and accommodating. Today was my mom's first telehealth visit with him. She is in an assisted living facility and unable to go to the office in the current pandemic environment. She loved the virtual visit! The office front desk staff could be more courteous. Clinic staff are great!

I saw Dr Richter approximately 3-4 times and switched rheumatologist. He prescribed a low dose chemo and it was making me nauseated. I asked him if he would write me a script for Zofran to help with the nausea and he flat out refused and said he doesn’t believe in prescribing a medication to help with the side effects of another medication. Zofran is a common med for nausea that has no side effects. Pregnant women take Zofran to help with morning sickness. So I left his office and found another rheumatologist through the Cleveland Clinic and I’m done with Richter. I ended up calling my family Dr who prescribed me the Zofran and it definitely made a difference.

If you want a Dr who is kind without trying to win a DR of the year award, one who is kind hearted because he cares.Someone who thinks of you as his patient not just a number. Someone who is knowledgeable and concerned about your well being then this is the Dr for you. I rarely have good things to say about people in general let alone a Dr. But Dr Richter is by far the best Dr I have ever been to. They have many Drs in this office but I would HIGHLY recommend seeing Dr Richter ONLY.
