He knew very strongly what the problem was.

Dr Richmond diagnosed my chronic pain in 2014, but found every excuse in the book Not to perform exploratory surgery. Fast forward five years , eleven specialists, countless useless expensive tests, I finally found a caring surgeon who actually listened and believed me. Dr Obi Imegwu performed the surgery and found a Huge amount of adhesions that were literally strangling my intestines ( Dr Richmond had said adhesions- which do Not show on imaging tests- from the get go but was hesitant to perform surgery and almost cost me my life) . Dr Imegwu is with RWJ in Somerville NJ.

He is an excellent surgeon .He operated on my left foot on 5/32022.the outcome was great.

I needed Dr. Richmand’s experience & expertise TWICE within two years. While many will feel that he is unfriendly or short with them, I submit that what they are seeing is a consummate craftsman who doesn’t like bs sessions or talking about the weather. Be prepared for that and you will be very pleased with the outcome of your procedure(s) with him. I was/am. If you want the desired result, engage this man and his talent!

Awful experience in his office. I didn't sign in because there was another patient at the small window blocking access to the clipboard. I sat down and just forgot about it. I sat by the window for an hour...there was no one else in the office. Not one employee asked me what i was waiting for and finally i got up and asked why my appt. was so late. It was because I didn't sigh in. I was furious and told them that it was stupid of them not to ask me. Richmond told me to never come back...which I had decided before that. What a nasty office staff and Doctor. A total waste of my time. Find another group for your needs.

Very poor experience. Very long wait time with very little time spent with his patients. He acted like a surgeon and spoke condescending to me and his staff. Did not spend the time to listen to my concerns or explain things clearly. Will be switching doctors.

Very knowledgeable and professional. He gets down to business and does the job. He is a very skilled surgeon.

Excellent care from Dr Richmand Doesn't waste time in an emergency and just does it! Thankful for his services
