DO NOT SEE AT CONCENTRA
I had to see Dr. Prieskorn through Concentra for a WC claim. Every time I saw him he was never prepared and had to ask ME questions about my case and what had been done so far. He was unprofessional and lacked any empathy about my case. The last time I saw him he wrote a script for a MRI with contrast for my hip (only after I begged to get it) because I had to remind him that my first MRI mentioned a tear in my hip. He interrupts me with 'possible tear'. So I asked him 'what could prove that there is a tear'. He said a MRI with contrast. I'm dumbfounded and go '... so shouldn't we get that done...?'I go to get my MRI scheduled and the scheduling team said the MRI order didn't have a diagnosis listed for the order.I called and had them resend it. Then he DIDN'T SIGN HIS NAME. Everything with him was like pulling teeth. I didn't trust him. And I have a strong feeling there's a note in my chart to not work with me because other doctors won't take my case.GO ANYWHERE ELSE FOR CARE.

Corrupt
During a concentra visit the doctor was able to diagnose a fracture in foot. Decided to clear for work anyways even after explaining that the nature of work was dangerous and the injury could put me in more danger.

I can walk again after 2 broken legs!
His staff and Dr. Prieskorn help me to heal for a year and a half following breaking both legs in a car accident. He first repaired my knee w a ORIF and then an ORIF of my rt calcaneus. His approach is a bit more reserved and holistic which is what saved my life given I struggle with Adrenal Insufficiency (no stress response). I was told by 5 others that my right foot would have to be amputated. He gave me hope and was confident and we proceeded, I can walk today. If you have a truly serious injury, you will filter through the menial reviews and pay attention to the ones that really matter. It’s your life - I recommend everyone to his office. Thank you Dr. Prieskorn. WJM

Be Careful
Make sure you get a copy of the doctors note immediately when leaving the office to ensure it is exactly what took place during your visit. You may need it later. Walked before going in, could not straighten my leg after coming out.

Disappointing to say the Least
While Dr. Prieskorn strives to do his best by his patients we cannot help but feel that my wife has been put through some orthopedic surgical mill where patients are processed with a mechanical attitude in hopes that the outcomes are favorable for the patient. While we understand that the Covid 19 pandemic has given cause for some procedures to be preformed outside of a hospital setting the place chosen by this office, Michigan Outpatient Surgical Solutions, leaves much to be desired. The professional staff maintains a congenial atmosphere conducive to patient comfort, the administrative staff does not do much to ease the patient experience. Today I went to pay our portion of the bill online. The Novi Orthopedic Surgery website was difficult to navigate in order to complete this task. In addition the site did not provide a receipt. It was supposed to send an email but it did not. I called the office during regularly scheduled hours, but it was closed. Very disappointing over all.

Went to the doctor today for a bum knee. got to my 8:30 appointment 15 min early to fill out paperwork. talked to the nurse for 2-3 min. waited for the doctor for 40 min in the room. Spent 1-2 min with the doctor who then decides to send me to X-ray. Waited 5 more min and left. We have to stop letting poor planning on the doctors define our day. If they had explained the delay (emergency or something) then I would understand but no communication at all. I work for a living and need to get back at it.

I found Dr. Prieskorn online, he was very close by and I lacked an Orthopedic contact. The reviews online were hit or miss but nothing related to the Doctor's skills. I "took" a chance and am very happy to say he and his staff were very professional AND competent. The surgery went well, Dr. Prieskorn was very thorough in helping me understand the options and the very engergetic and polite staff made the journey even better. I am happy I moved forward with Dr. Prieskorn and would be happy to refer any contacts (friends, family, strangers) to Dr. Prieskorn.

I was frustrated with after care. The office does not call back and it takes repeated calls to get any response. Pain is not addressed and if you don’t respond to Ultram you are stuck in pain with no relief.

Waited 2-1/2 hours for doctor. The waiting room was full and it was the end of the day. . He spent 60 seconds with me and swayed back and forth the whole time because he had too many patients to see. After all that time, They didn’t have my size boot so they gave me a small and told me to go to Binsons and they will switch out the boot. A script was supposed to be sent to Binsons but they never got one. Binsons said they have never heard of such a thing. Dr. Prieskorn is getting paid for the boot, why would Binsons give me a free boot! Sorry, greedy and rude. I will attempt to dispute any ridiculous fee charged to my Medicare. Thank you.

30 yrs. of hockey gave me a separated shoulder, dislocated collar bone & torn Rotator cuff of the rt. shoulder. After arthroscopic surgery, Dr told me when he first looked in with the scope he was ready to quit because my injury was so bad but he took the challenge, moved the tool 5 times and restored my shoulder movements. After therapy I am playing hockey & golfing again. 3 other family members have had similar results. Thanks Dr Prieskorn!

I have RA and had my first LTKR replacement at the age of 40. Many surgeons don’t like the idea of performing TKR on someone my age, however I was out of options. He was very concerned about my situation, and said point blank- although it’s not ideal, I can’t expect you to continue living your life in pain and misery. Three months post-op I’m doing well, and plan to have my right knee replaced later this year. My experience with Dr. Preiskorn and his staff have been positive.

On August 28th 2017 Dr.Prieskorn replaced my left and I couldn't be happier! He did an awesome job! No more pain. Two days after the surgery I was off the pain pills. Three weeks after I was walking without the walker and the cane. Now almost three month later I forget I even had surgery. I highly recommend Dr.Prieskorn. You would be wise, if like me you have Dr.Prieskorn do whatever surgery you need done......

Dr prieskorn is such a genius and a hilarious one as well lol. He reconstructed my ACL, and I was able to straighten my leg almost all the way, and to bend it to 90 degrees in the very first week. His great confidence put my mind at ease, and he made the surgery look like a piece of cake! Even my sister-in-law and my nephew love him and they keep asking me to say hello. I was given plenty of pain meds after the surgery: a morphine pump plus norcos, which I never finished. Highly recommended! A+

Dr. Prieskorn and his staff are excellent. Everyone was friendly and most importantly listened to my concerns. My injury happened at work and workers comp was less than helpful through the process. Luckily Dr. Prieskorn and his office were on my side and helped tremendously through the whole process! I am healing very fast and am very thankful!

No complains with the treatment offered but huge inconvenience dealing with the the staff and people around the doctor. Waiting time for getting to see the doctor after arriving on the scheduled time was far too long. What is the purpose of giving appointments if the staff can't stick to it in the first place, while even minor delays on the patients end lead to a no show charge. And completely unprofessional behavior about helping patients in regards to no show charges. Plain RUDE.

Dr. Prieskorn's staff is excellent. However, he is negligent about pain medication- and after surgery the patient is in pain for a month or more at a time. Pain management is nonexistent at this office. Do not s The torn meniscus surgery was arthroscopic and minimally invasive-6 weeks after- I am still unable to walk. I cannot carry on a normal life, cook, clean, shop, etc. A "cortisone" injection changed nothing. I have contacted the office repeatedly -do not seek help from this physician.
