A Refreshing Experience at Dr. Pohl's Office
Getting timely medical attention can be challenging, Dr. Pohl's office stands out by being efficient and caring. From the initial call to the appointment itself, the entire process was seamless and professional. As a new patient, I was impressed by how quickly I was able to secure an appointment—within just a week of reaching out.Dr. Pohl listened attentively as I shared my symptoms, demonstrating patience and understanding. His diagnosis and treatment plan were thorough and well-explained, ensuring I felt informed and supported throughout the process. The follow-up care was also meticulously planned, showing a genuine commitment to my health. What struck me most was the office's ability to manage multiple patients without making anyone feel rushed or neglected. Despite having several patients check in at the same time, the 2 person staff maintained a smooth workflow that respected everyone's time. This is truly a testament to their dedication and organizational skills.

I thought he was really good.
Dr. Pohl was my pulmonologist. He was excellent! He came to the Hill Country every week. He was consistent, knowledgabl and affable. I enjoyed going to him and trusted him in all respects. I use to live in Austin and I think there is no one better in Austin or the hill country. I am a 78 year old woman with asthma which he diagnosised.

I went in for an appointment last week and none of the staff were wearing masks. I immediately told them I was canceling my appointment. In the midst of Omicron, this is unacceptable.

I have been a patient for Dr. Pohl’s for many years. He has assisted me in maintaining my activity level, has answered all my questions, and I have always received a call back if I had to leave a message. Over the years I have referred several individuals to his quality care knowing they would receive the best of care.

Dr. Pohl may diagnosis the issue, but the man is cold and hard to deal with as is his staff. I just got a ding on my credit report for a bill in 2013! It is 2018! They do not return calls and do not accept calls between 8:30-12:00 or 1:00-4:00. Dr. Pohl does not want you to leave a message. I can not get paperwork as to the charges. Please don’t make yourself anymore miserable. Find someone else quick.
