Dr. Philips is very personable and easy to talk with. He explains everything so you can understand. The staff was very professional and caring.

My father almost died after having a so called routine colonoscopy and removal of 13 polyps during an outpatient procedure several years ago by Dr. David Philips. My father nearly bled to death in route to the hospital less than 24 hours after this procedure. My father underwent a major surgery that resulted in him having over 5 to 6 feet of his colon removed followed by 6 weeks in SICU at Willis Knighton North...5 of those weeks he was on the ventilator. This extensive trauma to my father's body resulted in him having to start hemodialysis sooner than expected by his nephrology team. Dr. Philips would not speak to me after this incident and I worked with him in ICU at Willis Knighton South as an RN. All of this changed my father's quality of life and shortened his life expectancy. This is written in memory of my father, Clarence Brock, Jr. by his daughter, Mabel Brock.
