Amazing!!!
There are not enough words to thank Dr. Palay. My husband had failed lasik surgery over 25 years ago which created multiple vision in his eyes and no procedure to correct this. He had 11 images in left eye and 7 in his right eye. When his cataracts worsened , he went to five reputable doctors and did not feel comfortable with them. He went to Dr. Palay and after first meeting, he knew this doctor was the one. He now has only 7 images in his left eye and 3 in the other. It is important to know that too much tissue was removed with lasik. Dr. Palay did recommend a certain lens and it was worth every penny. This is a rather long review but I felt it was important to know what a success this has been. Dr.Palay, you have changed my husband’s life. Thank you.

Hugely disappointed!!!! Would never recommend this Dr. Does not take insurance and doesn't tell you that until you're knee deep in. Recommended the wrong lens, which was confirmed by two other Dr.'s. Thank GOD I didn't go through with the surgery. It still cost me over $400. just for the testing and meds! Total cost of cataract replacement was $2000.+ I got it done by a reputable Dr. for $275. and he gave me the proper meds at no additional cost. If I could give him a 0- I would. Shister

Dr. David Palay & Support Staff/AOA office and Northside Hospital were excellent. I researched his credentials/experience/reputation. From the initial appointment through all follow up issues he and and his Staff were thorough and receptive to my queries. This was no easy feat as anyone getting near my eyes triggers anxiety. I chose laser cataract removal and replacement lenses that corrected my vision issues so that glasses of any kind were no longer necessary. Six months later all is well!

I've rarely had such a wonderful experience with a doctor. He is a skillful surgeon who is patient, calm, caring and attentive. I hadn't realized there were as many choices to make when having cataract surgery, and I needed his help in the decision making process. ( I've been VERY nearsighted since childhood.) He helped me think it through, and I marvel at the result. I now see with such enhanced clarity and color...as if a halogen light were shining on everything. I need only readers.Wow.
