Dr. David Mittleman, MD

Dr David Mittleman misdiagnosed me with an Eye condition I never had based on my evaluation with a Specialist at Bascom Palmer.Mittleman prescribed a very high potency steroidal Eye Drop for 3 years which caused me to lose vision just 33 days after my annual visit last year in which Dr Mittleman documented my vision was 2030 with no signs of any condition.The Eye Drop is usually prescribed after Eye Surgery which I never had.The Eye condition was related to a Gluten Allergy with intermittent Eye Inflammation, that Dr Mittleman failed to identify was the cause of the Eye Inflammation.Dr Mittleman has not contacted me to apologize for the negligence nor has he offered to reimburse me for the months of Retinal Specialist treatment and time off from work as a Registered Nurse.

Everyone at Mittlemen eye center was polite and helpful. I saw Dr Goldberg wonderful experience for cataract screening for surgery. I also met a 2nd Dr. an optometrist unfortunately I don’t remember his name also a great Dr. at Mittlemen. Javier who set up appointments for the eyes measurements and explained how the eye lens is installed and how they break up the cataract was very informative and helpful. These are just a few of the staff members I met on my first visit. Everyone from reception to the end of visit was attentive and knowledgeable.

I was impressed with the entire staff in very pleasant and organized office. At the front office, Mirelly and Finley were friendly and extremely helpful. With comprehensive exams from Big Sean and Dr. Vosilauskas, A Alley and Dr. Mittleman, I felt that I was treated in a most professional and caring manner.

Great staff- Mireily, Avery & Myra, Ashley, Javier & Nancy & of course Dr Mittleman. They are excellent in showing concern & giving excellent care. Dr Mittleman has a sense of humor which certainly puts one at ease. Love this office & staff.

Mittleman Eye is a very large and well run medical organization. I was attended to and cared for each step of the way. His staff is exemplary. Dr. Mittleman understood my eye condition and my concerns and made me comfortable with his evaluation. I had been looking for a new eye doctor, after having mine in Manhattan for over 20 years. I have found him. Thank you.

Second eye exam this year. Been using random optometrist for exams. Wife decided to go to healthgrades to look for the best. Her research was worth it. I have been wearing glasses since 3rd grade I'm now 67. I feel like I found someone with answers. Making appointments for my wife and daughter. No more Doc in the box for us.

This was my first visit to Mittleman Eye Center and I was very impressed with the quality of care and service I received. Everyone from Brianna at check in, to Emily, the first technician I met took who took me to the first exam room for the initial check up. The Resident that did my initial exam didn’t sign my card but he was very thorough with his examination and documentation of his findings to my chart. Dr. Mittleman and his assistant Ashley were very thorough in his final examination and concurred with the resident’s assessment with some comments and allowed him to recheck my eyes to see his recommendations. Cat who walked me back to the front, Siuny in the optical area and Bria at check out were also very careing and quick to help me finish up my visit and get out quickly. I highly recommend Dr. Mittleman and Mittleman Eye Care.

The facility was clean and the atmosphere was very friendly. The staff is very courteous and helpful. The level of commitment and dedication to ensuring that every question is answered and every expectation was met iwas a come back and see us again moment.

Dr Mittleman is the best ophthalmologist I have ever seen. I am 80 years old and have been to many. Knowledge and character and personality.

I was referred to Mittleman Eye by a neighbor. I had my first appointment yesterday for vision and eye health. This is the most innovative medical practice I've ever experienced. They have cutting edge equipment and partnerships with elite lens makers and the like. I was so happy I did not have to have my eyes dilated (they have the technology to take a picture of the back of the eye that replaces the need for dilation). The office itself is beautiful and exceptionally clean. The entire experience was beyond expectation for customer service excellence. From my initial check-in with Mireily, to Clara (the first tech to check my vision), to Dr. V and her intern Leslie, to Maranda, Angie, and Finley, every encounter I had was quick yet extremely thorough. They did not try to sell me anything extra - highly recommend!

Dr. Mittleman and his staff were very organized, efficient, and considerate. He was thorough and explained my situation. Still waiting on test results, so cannot comment on treatment yet.

Just how everyone on one team they all work together, thank you dr Middleman for a little sense a humor, so a first time patient like me don't be so uncomfortable,thank everyone for being professional
