I have been seeing him for 15 yrs. He really listens and ask questions about not just my mental health but everything going on in my life and family. I believe he really cares about me. I will stay with him till he retires. Enough said

During several years of treatment, this doctor failed to express empathy during times I was extremely depressed or frustrated by my bipolar. During a period of suicidal depression, I was asked by my sister and mother to get info from his as to what to do if they hospitalized me: Do they call him or does the hospital? His response was that the hospital had their own staff. He did NOT then ask what was going on with me that my family thought I might need hospitalization! This was typical

Kind and caring, great listener. Would help if he had an office person to schedule appointments or to go online. No one really enjoys phone tag anymore.
