I visited Dr Merin in the ER, he was very knowledgeable, he listened to all my concerns, answered my all my questions and did a very good job treating my condition. A very pleasant DR. Indeed.

He was the attending doctor at the st Josephs emergency room. He misdiagnosed my sister with an ovarian cyst. Sending her home in pain with no help. Come to find out. She has no cyst. She never did. This is a doctor that just looks at some one and decides what the diagnosis. Female 30s abdominal cramping. well it must be a cyst. Had you spoken to us you would know she had a ISSUE WITH HER DIGESTIVE SYSTEM. We were sent home and he assured us we would return as he hadn't done his job.

If I could give him a zero I would. Came into the ER, he refused to listen to my complaints and made an incorrect diagnosis that has led to multiple unnecessary tests...as well as another ER visit...because he didn't treat me correctly. I know you don't have a lot of choice in the ER, but I would avoid Dr. Merin if I could.
